But the missus and I had a loud knock on the door at 230 AM and when I looked out the peephole I didn’t see anyone but then all of a sudden Someone stepped back in front of our door. It was our across the hall neighbor and she was completely naked except for a bathmat she was covering up with. She asked me to call an ambulance and I noticed red marks on her face so I dialed 911 and asked for an ambulance and the police. I was trying to get pants on to go out and at least make sure she was ok but I saw her go upstairs where other neighbors had her inside.
I went out and waited on them to show and I saw some guy come out the building next door swearing loudly and had a backpack on and waltzed his ass down the street and had a good feeling that was him….which turns out it was and they had his ass in cuffs before I even wrote my statement. They took her out on a gurney but she was telling them what happened on the way out and I overheard one officer say it was going to be a felony charge.
I literally went to the office last week and told them they had a loud argument in the hallway at midnight and they told me to call the police if it happened again. This is way above that.

The joys of apartment living. I mostly get on with my current upstairs neighbor, she actually checked in on my cats for me when I had a stroke in September. However, last summer she noticed a wasp nest on the roof o er the stoop to the doors of our apartments. She called the office and they had an exterminator come and spray some sort of foam around. I don’t know what he used but it’s still there; it has long since washed off the stoop onto the grass and has congealed into a clear goop of some sort. On Halloween night I had to deter sone truck or treaters from playing with it. I’ve called the office about it several times and it’s still there.

We’ve lived here for a year and a half and it’s had 4 tenants. I just hope she’s ok. I overheard the neighbor upstairs say she possibly had a broken nose.

Good on you for actually taking action for your neighbor, unfortunately too many people wouldn't even have picked up the phone to call the cops after such incidents.
I'm honestly glad I've been able to get away from apartment living (still renting, but I thankfully make enough to where I can afford renting houses); those buildings just have too much stress and hostility for no real good reason.
