So, aside from a few interviews, I'm seeing hardly anything about this movie-not even a thread here that I can tell and for my location (Kentucky) there's one theater within a 60 mile radius that's showing it.
Frankly, if this film needs to be screened anywhere, it's around here.
Not even a major city like Nashville, TN, and one theater in Louisville.
What gives?
I'm fully aware of it and it seems to be an AMC exclusive, but no talk on it being a limited theatrical release, so it's going to fail miserably.
It seems like it's an important movie as it deals with psychological abuse and is one of those films that probably needs to be seen, though I've heard it is treated as more of a "thriller"
It looks to be an uncomfortable watch, as it's a real life horror subject as Anna has confessed that she's been with a psychologically abusive mate. I was kinda hoping it would get more press and perhaps someone would watch it and perhaps realize that if they were in the same situation that they might think "Wow, I need to get out-I didn't actually realize what is going on"
Thoughts? Anyone actually seen it?
BTW It's not streaming either.
I'm expecting this thread to die a quick death as well, as this seems like it's an obscure film.

I haven't seen it, but I did take note when I saw a trailer on YouTube as I've always had a crush on her.
Her movies seem to range anywhere from mainstream hits to stuff you literally never heard of. I'm guessing this will be one of the latter.
