What are some finishers that you associate with certain gimmicks? For example, even though only a handful of "cowboy" wrestlers used the lariat (Stan Hansen, Bobby Duncum Jr, and Adam Page), for some reason, I associate that move with those type of gimmicks.

I liked Mongo using the Tombstone just because Mongo, but generally I didn't like anyone using it outside of Taker and Kane. As great as Finlay is, I always found his Tombstone looked out of place, although flawlessly executed. Do I associate it with a type of gimmick however? Not sure.

I'm sure I'm not alone in associating chokeslams with giants.

Giant fat dudes always finish their matches with some form of dropping their massive bodies on top of someone else.

Any short, stocky wrestler (especially with a collegiate background) will be a 'suplex machine'.

Camel Clutch. Anyone of vague Arabian descent or gimmickry is 100% using the camel clutch.

It felt like a ton of black wrestlers used Pay Dirt at one point... just Shelton popularizing the move I guess.

I love Finlay, but especially in the 1990s his tombstone finisher looked out of place. He executed it like a technical wrestler so it looked too pretty. With Undertaker a lot of the time he was sloppy in getting the guys in position so it looked like a real fight to put them down.

Moonsaults from guys with amateur/MMA backgrounds. I don't understand why it's become a thing but it has.
