Wasn’t a fan of how long it took for Sami to finally make up his mind and take action. I was starting to think it would take the Bloodline hitting Kevin with a car before Sami would do something. Saving your friend doesn’t mean much if he’s already brain dead because you took too long to do something.
Also wasn’t a fan of how regretful Sami seemed after turning. How much did they have to do for Sami to realize that they’re not good people and that he shouldn’t feel bad for turning on them? Bonding with them shouldn’t mean much if they’re not good people.

I don’t think Roman was ever going to “turn” on Sami. Sami was always a great asset to him and he wanted to just manipulate him to keep him in line

Sort of like getting out of an abusive relationship. He was gaslit into thinking they were his boys. Obviously Jey had love for him, I’m sure Jimmy and Solo actually saw it as a betrayal. Roman was blatantly using him

Masterful segment. Gripping stuff. Jey walking out adds that extra spice for us to keep coming back. I don’t think we will get the full KO/Sami reconciliation till Elimination Chamber but we’ll see.

Bloodline changed from the cool heels to the actual bad guy heels just like that.

And Roman’s reaction? He’s soooo hurt. He tried so f***ing hard to keep his circle tight after both his Shield brothers abandoned him and it happened AGAIN. Type of shit that makes the biggest bad guy say, “I’m REALLY bout to enter my villain era now” Roman: Mox left me, Seth went crazy.......man, why nobody want me?! Solo: My daddy didn't want me either but you don't see me bitching.

Fantastic segment, and Jey walking out bumped it up to another level.
I hope it's not all like "sorry Uce, I'm back" on the next show, because there's a LOT of potential here.
Also give Sami the match at WM against Roman.

I know Cole mentioned it but a plot hole I would like explaining why Adam Pearce and Co didn't show up to stop it like they did with Brock and Edge

So great.
We go on to Roman-Sami in Montreal, Sami gets screwed by Jey who finally chooses his family over his new 'brother'.
Cue heartache, wheels in motion for Usos v Sami/KO at WM and it feels emotionally earned rather than just shunting Sami away from the title match without cause. Bada-bing, bada-boom.
All set up from this segment. Lovely stuff.

I’m one of those who are fed up with the whole “Bloodline wins lol” stuff as well but on this occasion I think it was needed.
Sure you could’ve done Sami running the whole Bloodline off with the chair while Jey bails, but in terms of putting over the brutality then Sami and KO getting laid out is a pretty striking image to end on.
With Elimination Chamber being in Montreal I’m sure the Reigns v Zayn match will happen there, but goddamn after sticking up for Cody winning in the Rumble thread yesterday I’m now fully on board with Reigns vs Zayn happening at WrestleMania lol.
Presuming Vince doesn’t manage to get his grubby hands on creative and leaves HHH alone, this will be Papa H’s first big test in terms of how he handles Reigns, Cody and Sami without ***ing anyone off. I’m totally up for Sami/KO beating the Usos for the tag titles at WrestleMania, but how they will get there will be interesting.

And Jey was the one that asked him what he was doing, both Jimmy and Solo attacked him without saying anything.

I think that segment needed to be as long as it was. Why?
For years, the fans have been holding up the 1’s and acting like they were part of the act. That the Bloodline were the good guys. We needed something as painful and as uncomfortable as that to realize that these guys are the bad guys.
Sami and Jey weren’t just the ones gaslit. The fans were gaslit too.
And for those wondering why Sami didn’t come out on top in that segment, his character isn’t just instantly going to become Stone Cold Steve Austin. He’ll get his, but last night wasn’t the night.

I know it probably is not PG, but seeing the fans hold up the 1s and turning it into a sea of middle fingers directed at Roman would be a really nice visual.

Like the crowd knows what's coming before they even realise that they know. Montreal 2023 Elimination Chamber has got that same energy, and I'm so down for it. So long as it doesn't end with a sharpshooter screwjob lol

This was great. We were quite a bit into the segment before I realized that the announcers had just shut up and let us be in the moment. I love that Sami apologized to Jey and that Jey was truly hurt. It was a great story. The thing is, Sami had done more than enough to be a true member of the bloodline. Wargames alone should have solidified that. You could tell that he genuinely loves these guys but he also loves Kevin. It made sense though that after hitting Roman and apologizing to Jey he just accepted what was coming next. Jey walking out took it to another level though. I really think this was the right way to end it tonight.

Am I the only one who is not that into the idea of Jey turning on Sami at Elimination Chamber? To me it would be a lot more interesting if Roman committed an act at the Rumble that finally caused the Bloodline to crack. And you’ve got Jey as a ready made top face with this move.

That only made me think Sami needs to beat Roman at Mania even more. Sami/Kevin winning the tag titles doesn't even feel like the right end to the story anymore given Jey is on the verge of turning already. I get wanting Zayn to get the world title as part of this, it’s such a great angle that it warrants it. But it leaves Owens with nothing, and he’s too involved in the story now to leave it empty-handed. I supposed they could do it like when Kofi Kingston got his world title shot, and Big E and Xavier Woods basically gave up their WM aspirations to go all in on Kingston. But I’d still feel bad for Owens. I just hate the idea of them doing all this work, then winning the tag team titles and having to move on to feud with Hit Row on the PPV after Mania pre-show. Sami's been doing World Title caliber work, it really should be rewarded.
