Do you think this is the plan? Everyone is saying that right now Sami is at his hottest, but I think they can make an equally hot program with KO and Sami for the world title, hell I think it can be a Night 2 main event. Cody beats Roman for the undisputed title, Cody Keeps the wwe title, loses it to Finn who then loses to KO, Sami wins either the Rumble or Elimination chamber to take on KO. It can either be a face vs face respect match or KO can turn into a smug heel talking down to Sami for not being as accomplished as him. This is all assuming the Saudis don’t buy the wwe

I don't know if it's realistic or just complete fantasy booking in my head but I have been thinking for a while Wrestlemania 40 could be Sami winning his first world title from KO and the show ending with them embracing like Benoit/Eddie 20 years earlier. I wouldn't have KO turn on Sami yet again though, especially just a year on from what is going to be their emotional reunion coming up in a few weeks, but he'd definitely play the more heelish/dominant role in promos and during the match, basically the Summerslam 92 Bret to Sami's Bulldog.
What a 3 year Wrestlemania streak that would be for them. From KO main eventing with Austin and Sami stealing the show with Knoxville to potentially winning the tag titles together to facing each other for the world title. I'd really like to see it happen.

They debuted in NXT in 2013 and 2014
Would be a heck of a way to cap off a decade with the company.

I just do buy Sami in the main event outside this story.
He's great in this story, but other than that, his whole presentation screams midcard.
He'd need to prove himself beyond the Bloodline story as a main event show carrying star before I'd even consider him as a Wrestlemania headliner.

Bret. Benoit. Danielson. Sami. It just feels right.
I wonder if Dwayne/Roman happens then too. For as hyped as 39 seems to be, 40’ll probably be bigger.

If Cody is the plan for 39, then you’ve got a year to build Sami outside of this amazing storyline to make 40 happen. Which, I could see happening.
Let’s do it, especially if they win the Tag Titles at 39.

I feel like having him beat a near 3 year world champ would be doing too much. Yes I know he’s over, but he was jobbing to Johnny Knoxville at Mania last year. Build him up for one more year and he will be golden

There's no way there's any plans at this point for Mania 40. Also, Sami will never be WWE Champion.

I’m sure the same was said about Eddie Guerrero, Daniel Bryan, Kofi Kingston, Drew McIntyre, hell the guy who use to be on the preshows Stardust could possibly end the biggest world title reign since the 80s

On one hand, it'd be cool, but on the other, Sami and Owens have had so many goddamn matches against each other, it's difficult for me to get that excited about it. I'd only do it if it was face vs. face, and that's really difficult to get right.
