Just announced by Iger.
Like, the latter 2 I'm fine with, Frozen 3 was a matter of if, not when, but please just let Toy Story sleep at this point. You split Woody and Buzz up in 4, what else can you do?
Oh and 7000 employees got laid off, but hey *JIGGLES KEYS*

Another Toy Story? Good grief; give the series a rest, there's nothing left to tell.

Toy Story 4 was pushing things already given it was essentially a movie length epilogue, but 5?
There's no more blood to be ringed from this stone.

I'm glad to hear something about Frozen 3 finally, but I'm as perplexed as anyone about Toy Story 5.

Only thing I can think of them possibly doing is when Woody first became Andy's toy.

I'm okay with Zootopia 2, there's plenty more you can explore with that, but the other two are just flogging a dead horse, especially Toy Story.

Toy Story 4 was fine. It wasn't great, but it was fine. But that having been said, that's absolutely the last possible story you can tell with those characters. Zootopia 2 I'm actually fine with, I like the world they built there and wouldn't hate seeing more of it. Frozen 3....I mean, people will watch it.

I've seen Frozen, Frozen Fever, Olaf's Frozen Adventure, and Frozen 2 so much because of my daughter that I'm dying for a new Frozen so I can watch something new.

I just hope Toy Story 5 ends better than 4, even fixes some of the shit 4 created
Frozen 3... no clue what the hell they do, maybe Hans comes back for revenge? Idk
Zootopia 2 I'm excited for, there's a lot you can still do with that concept

I've seen Frozen, Frozen Fever, Olaf's Frozen Adventure, and Frozen 2 so much because of my daughter that I'm dying for a new Frozen so I can watch something new. My best friend has a daughter and probably my favorite conversation we’ve ever had was the time he genuinely tried to convince me that Moana is the best movie ever made because it’s the only one he would still hum along to when it was playing for the 200th day in a row.

What else can they even say for Toy Story? Like...they've bookended hard the series two times. What's left, other than give Buzz Lightyear even less onscreen time?

I have never watched frozen because the song let it go sounds like rejecting someone. Is frozen about rejecting someone?

Thought Toy Story should have ended after 3. Andy moved on and the toys found a new loving home. Seemed like a natural conclusion.

I have never watched frozen because the song let it go sounds like rejecting someone. Is frozen about rejecting someone? I haven't seen the movie in full yet, but that song is rejecting her past life in her kingdom where she was forced to hide her ice-powers and a be a "perfect" woman. Seeing the visuals of the song, it's when she makes her own personal ice-castle as well.

Toy Story 5 is pretty much their response to Lightyear bombing. Gotta wash that stink off and finish strong.

I have never watched frozen because the song let it go sounds like rejecting someone. Is frozen about rejecting someone? Eh, not really? Let It Go's kind of odd because it's really Elsa cutting herself off from the world and going deeper into living in seclusion like she's been doing for years, which is very definitively a bad thing in the narrative, and ultimately going against that is what resolves things, but with the way it's sung and how much the marketing's rallying behind it it makes it sound like it's this big triumphant song that within the context of the story it really isn't supposed to be. Like it's sung the way it is because it fits her mood in that moment but it doesn't actually fall into that capacity in the structure of the movie.

Toy Story is still a big merchandise earner, and none of the four films have been stinkers, so I can see them going back to it. Zootopia and Frozen were givens seeing as they were billion dollar grossers.
Makes me feel more bad for how Strange World turned out though. I can see it becoming a cult favorite like Princess and the Frog did, another film that got out grossed by an Avatar movie (poor SW had both that *and* Wakanda Forever to deal with) but picked up a following over the years. But it’s the big bank movers that get the follow ups and parade spots, I know.
