Looking at the Nakamura/Styles thread I was thinking, AJ having a year long run with the belt at the same time as Brock having his long run, not too far removed from Punk, and with Roman’s current run obliterating it made it pretty pointless in the long run. Also the end of his title run was a random Smackdown match. They could of done a little bit more to build up Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles for the wwe championship ending in a heel turn. I think they should of given Nakamura a short run with the belt

It was so goddamn boring at points.
Nakamura winning the title, even briefly, would have made the whole thing leagues better. That was one of WWE's biggest missed opportunities, beyond a shadow of a doubt, in recent years.

It was unusual that it started on a random Smackdown then ended on a random Smackdown.

I struggle to think of anything decent to say about it. The highlight of it was probably the Fastlane six-way match and even then AJ spent like 90% of that match taking a nap.

The LMS at Money in the Bank was good stuff, but unfortunately that feud took a long time getting there.
