IWGP Women's Championship Appreciation

After checking out Battley in the Valley, I was fascinated to find out there is an actual IWGP Women's Championship that is defended in these shows. Will be checking out the main matches in the future for sure. 👊

It's still very new.

I like the physical belt. I usually dislike main plates that have a top like that, but it works here, I feel.

I also think that they went for a good size. I know the first AEW Women's title was too small for many peoples' liking, probably to look oldschool, but this feels not too big or too small.

It looks proportional to the people holding it. The original AEW women's belt main plate was a bit too thin. It looked fine on Riho, as Riho is pretty small. But it really didn't fit Nyla or Shida at all.

I really like the crown motif with this design.

For anyone that wondering, the belt is based on the second version of the IWGP heavyweight Championship that was used in the 90s.
