Invader Zim. Of the ones I watched as a kid in the 90s its Rocko and followed by Hey Arnold. Ren and Stimpy was too gross for me. Rugrats was ok but not amazing. Doug I think like someone said I might have related more to if it came out when I was a little bit older or if I was older but by that time it was on ABC as Disney's Doug and it had moments. Angry Beavers was fine as was KaBlam!. CatDog was whatever. Anything after that besides Zim I did not take to as I was aging out and Rocket Power sucks and I just found Spongebob annoying

I loved how sassy angry beavers was. Rocket Power was probably the last one I got into. Never could get into SpongeBob.

Kind of surprised I haven’t seen any mention of Danny Phantom yet.
But I think Rocko is probably my answer. I liked several others but that’s the one that stuck with me the longest.

Never got into Invader Zim or Avatar. I thought they were too off-brand for Nicktoons.
As Told By Ginger was a good "non-traditional" nicktoon though.

Galaxy high was my favourite though I don't know if can be classed as a nicktoon so id say early Rugrats,Real Monsters and Catdog would be up there for me.

Avatar, Zim, and Hey Arnold are the only Nicktoons I can safely say I would give 5 out of 5 stars. I can see some people HATING Zim for how insane and random it gets at times (a product of its time) but Avatar and Arnold are MUST WATCH no matter who you are.
SpongeBob and Fairly OddParents are right behind them but I can't give those 5 stars as some episodes late in their runs are total stinkers.

I thought about it a bit more and I really enjoyed Zim earlier on. By the end it was still alright but the weirdness began to feel forced. It felt like they were having GIR do random shit because it was expected, not because it worked for the character or anything like that. Still largely enjoyed the show.

Danny Phantom IMO is easily the best Frederator Nicktoon. I didn’t watch a whole lot of TUFF Puppy and Fairly Oddparents occasionally would have a funny joke but the bad stuff is really bad and lazy with the humor.

Doug probably holds up best, IMO.

I'm kind of of two minds in that I do think when I think of individually funny and quotable Zim moments a lot of them come from the start of the show, but when I think of the best episodes of it a lot the ones that come to mind (though not all) like Tak, the Christmas episode, Mysterious Mysteries, and Zim Eats Waffles are from the tail end of it. Though on the flipside so is Gaz, Taster of Pork and that's by far the show's worst episode.

Probably Ren and Stimpy.
All this stuff started coming out when I was like 12 or 13, so even though I kind of remember stuff like Doug, Rugrats, and Rocko's Modern Life, I had moved on from kids shows mostly at that point. I was more into stuff like Beavis and Butthead and The Simpsons by then.
