Since someone mentioned Ben Garrison (who's had beef with Adams prior to this):

The only good thing about Ben Garrison is that he's the inspiration for the Onion's political cartoons. Right down to the excessive labeling.

I love those Popeye comics, by the way. Randy's knowledge of the franchise is astonishing.

So he got fired because white people discriminated against him because he’s white…but black people didn’t discriminate against him so he identified as black…but now he’s white again and blacks are a hate group. The f*** did I even read? Don't forget that he blamed black people for the cancelation of the UPN cartoon even though a decade prior he complained about the show being paired with Shasta McNasty... A show about white people. Not gonna blanket blame black people by any means, but it was an odd decision airing f***ing Dilbert of all shows on a network geared towards black people. Dilbert, starring Daniel Stern, it’s hard to get much whiter then that

Dilbert, starring Daniel Stern, it’s hard to get much whiter then that UPN was trying to diversify their content. They'd actually also been one of the people vying for Clerks the Animated Series, but Kevin Smith went with ABC. Ironic, really, since even if it'd have likely only lasted a season or two on there, too, it would have likely got more episodes, and certainly aired more of them.

Even getting only 5 episodes on the air is still more than Clerks got on ABC. It got its fourth episode, then it's second, then canceled, of the 6 episodes produced. Like Home Movies, though, I think Adult Swim or something else eventually did air the other episodes, which primarily got its following from the DVD release.

Wonder what the Lio comic strip will do about this whole situation. They've poked fun at other strips before.

I think they finally gave up around 2004 when Everybody Hates Chris was a runaway success and they accepted it was what it was.

Literally the only time I ever laughed at a Dilbert was when Dogbert wished for world peace because he could take over the world with a butter knife.
Well...I guess you had to be there, but it did make me laugh.
Other than that, Adams has made a living with a strip that is a light chuckle at best for me.

The WB Network was more the "black" network at first until they started their kids block and diversified their primetime content. Ironic considering their original mascot was that racist ass frog.

It was actually a pretty funny show with a great voice acting cast (Daniel Stern, Chris Elliot, Jason Alexander, Tom Kenny).

But it mostly failed because you could get better stuff on other networks. Except the “black” shows as they were still underserved by the other networks.
