Now I’ve been a daily weed smoker for the past decade. I ve heard that there is a lot of benefit on ridding yourself of thc. The past 3 weeks I’ve limited it to once or a couple times a week but after this past Sunday I want to take a break until Wrestlemania atleast (I always like watching wrestling stoned). Anyone else take a long T break? If so how has it benefited you? Limiting my weed use was kind of tough on me at first because I had trouble sleeping, but I do see minor benefits already. I can also track my progress here to see if anyone else is interested

I smoked for 6 years straight and had to quit abruptly for a random drug test at work. Luckily I wasn’t selected and they haven’t done one since, but that was 3 years ago. I haven’t done it since but a few times because the paranoia wouldn’t let me enjoy it. It took me almost a solid year to not crave it and was one of the hardest things to overcome. I’d do it again in a heartbeat if I could, but I don’t ever crave it anymore.

Like how is it their business what you do on your own time? In saying that, I commend anyone who goes through a struggle like that to improve their life. Hope both of the people in this thread a successful journey

I’m surprised it ain’t federally legal yet tbh. (Hopefully I’m not getting into politics here, if I’m going to far mods lmk). Weed is one of those things where some people can smoke every day of their lives and function normally or even have it enhance their lives but for others it can be a detriment but it sure as shit ain’t meth

- Dreaming again. Dreamings vital for your brain and THC literally blocks you from doing it. There’s also nothing better than a natural sleep but I’ll admit it’s hard to get there after dropping thc - tend to be more active. - I find I’m able to work out better/harder when I let it go as opposed to when I’m regularly doing it. - my entire outlook tends to change tbh. I tend to see the bright side/get happier more in general but overtime..it tends to “fill up to capacity” so to speak. There’s pro’s and con’s. Like with everything. But I’ll always say tolerance breaks are good if you’re going too HAM on it (or anything really) I smoked for 6 years straight and had to quit abruptly for a random drug test at work. Luckily I wasn’t selected and they haven’t done one since, but that was 3 years ago. I haven’t done it since but a few times because the paranoia wouldn’t let me enjoy it. And they’re legit places too. Just a far cry in culture from how it’s been before.

If you're happy, if you're healthy, with these new life choices, then kudos to you.
Be the reverse Nate Dogg: don't smoke weed every day.

I've been smoking pot for about 25 years. Sometimes I take a T break when it doesn't get me high anymore. However, I have learned that long T breaks aren't really that necessary. Just a couple days off from smoking way too much is enough for me personally.
