Made a couple of these polls in the past in the WWE section so decided to make one here, too!
I'm finding it difficult to pick one because I feel my favourites have been getting a fair shake lately. I guess I could pre-emptively choose Ruby since I don't like the fact she's turned heel, lol.

I voted for Emi. The awesome matches recently with Hayter and Riho shows how much she still has to offer but she barely ever features on Dynamite or Rampage.
Maybe she prefers working with the younger talent on Dark and Elevation but I’d like to see her spotlighted more. Even if not on the main AEW shows she would be a great challenger for whichever babyface beats Athena for the ROH title or I could even get behind Emi turning and challenging Athena.

Unless Abadon has been injured all this time, or she was caught running illegal dog fights in the locker room, there is NO reason for her not to be used more on TV
I know TK doesn't like supernatural gimmicks, but she has a marketable look/gimmick that I could see weird little girls (and kids in general) latching onto

Emi Sakura is probably one of the best in-ring talents they have. I'm not saying she should get a rocket push to the Women's Championship or anything, but she'd be a great gatekeeper-type. Anything to get her consistently on television.

Jade.
If booked correctly, she could be one of the biggest stars the company has.

So many creative ways to go with a character like Abadon's.

I could go for who should be on TV more or TayJay for how their stock has dropped since alligning with Sammy/JAS on-screen.
However I have to go in a different direction and say Riho because she's not presented like she's the inaugural champion and commentary (mostly JR) constantly undermine her. Same applies to Shida and Nyla to a lesser degree but the former is still a credible challenger and Nyla always has her size.

Ruby- White hot debut, inconsistent appearances, now a local woman heel turn. She's better than what she's getting.

Easily Ruby. Despite her booking being terrible she's always stayed over yet it feels like they are always constantly trying to undermine her for some reason. The constant losing in big matches didn't work so now they've decided to turn her heel and make her a Saraya lackey.

Cannot emphasize how incredibly stupid it is that we've yet to get Riho/Deeb III. So those two for me.

outside of being the catalyst in a way for team ex-wwe vs team britt, shida has been generally forgotten since losing the belt. and now after setting things in motion for the main women's feud in aew she hasn;t been seen or heard from since then. with ruby on team ex-wwe, team face aew needs a leader (i suppose they're turning team britt face but i think it would be more of a fun feud with three factions going at it rather than the usual two).
tayjay have been in free fall since joining the JAS as well. ruby, for all her booking issues, at least is getting regular TV/match time lately.

I can't pick just one lol
Abadon is wayyy cool. I have no idea how or why she isn't utilized beyond the odd squash on Dark.
Emi Sakura could be utilized a lot more. She's very talented & experienced and I think deserves more exposure.
Hikaru Shida I feel like should be a bigger star than she is. She isn't *as* underutilized but I still feel her AEW tenure leaves more to be desired
Jade Cargill, I am not a fan of. I think her ringwork is dull and her promos are boring. But I do think she's been a victim of bad booking and with some retooling could be a bigger star than she is.
I'd love to see Nyla Rose get more screen time. Her ringwork is solid and her mic work rules. Plus, y'know, trans representation. She's dope.
I'll kinda group Riho & Deeb together in that I'd just like to see them more often. But I think in their cases it's not anyone's fault, just visa BS & injuries
Ruby should've won the women's Owen last year and probably should have had a short reign with the TBS Title after its inception. I think having her turn heel is a bad move but I'll withhold complete judgment until the angle plays out some more. So far not looking great but ehh you never know

I agree with Emi. On top of everything that's been said in this thread, she relocated to the United States for this run, despite being a pretty well-established star in Japan. She deserves a lot more than just being a JTTS and YouTube mainstay.

I mean, most of them.
But I voted Riho, it would be nice to see her used more often (if possible).

Riho's one of the most protected girls in the company and has gotten title shots since She has 26 wins, which due to her pandemic absence is really good. Her only losses are to Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb, Ruby Soho, Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford in singles. And most of those were from like 2021 Hoping this year is where we see more of her, but they still really love her and book her frequently in Japan

Jade. If booked correctly, she could be one of the biggest stars the company has. She's on her way there. But the key is specifically how they book her after that first loss. If done right, they can make someone a star in ending the undefeated streak and winning the TBS championship, and Jade can be easily built back up.
