Lets see
1.Philips portable CD player. Can play wav and MP3 files off a CD-r. Runs about 10 hours off 2 AA batteries. Havent used it in close to 8 years now.
2.Got at least 3 GO GEAR MP3 players-When these got cheap like 12 years ago I bought 3 of them. One is loaded with podcasts the other 2 are loaded with muusic.
3.Some late 90s cassette walkman like device-No idea if this still works since I do not have an cassettes to use in it.
Can't do music on my phone. But i do have a small tablet I usually keep with me loaded with music and podcasts.

No I really don't listen to enough music to justify it. I'm a podcast guy and that I prefer to download and delete quickly from my phone

I still have my Sony MP3 player that's at least 15 years old. I use it when I go for walks since it's small, and it's not as bulky as a smartphone.
Also you can run with it, and it's not bouncing up and down in your pocket since it's the size of a business card, and super light.
The battery doesn't hold charge like it used to, but it's still kicking.
Cool to see so many others sticking with their old reliable's
