What's the closest you've ever sat at a show by any of the mainstream promotions?
Me and a friend had 4th row seats for a WWF house show in Houston in 1997. Bret Hart vs. Undertaker was the main event.

4th row seats for my first WWF show in 1990 in the Whittemore Sports Arena, not near the aisle though unfortunately.

2nd or 3rd row for the Smackdown after Wrestlemania 23. I remember heckling Bobby Lashley who was my least favorite wrestler at the time. Then it turned out I was staying at the same hotel as the wrestlers and the next morning I ended up in the same elevator as him, just the two of us, and when I noticed I was scared he would beat me up. Which is a bit silly looking back because why would he even have noticed or remembered me and why would he jeopardize his career over some fan yelling "YOU SUCK!" the night before?

I had a bunch of aisle seats at house shows at the Meadowlands arena and later the Hertz arena in Fort Myers, Florida (after I moved down to southwest Florida.)

I sat right in front of the pre-show panel at Survivor Series this past November.

Probably the 6/6/06 SmackDown taping when I was maybe 10 rows back.
Also pretty much only not the worst seats I've had because of the blue light at WrestleMania 33 because I couldn't see a thing any time anybody in front of me stood up.

From closest to farthest away.
Impact TV Tapings in Westwego LA 2022-2nd row by the entrance way.
WCW Beach Blast 92 PPV-5th row next to the ramp.
WWF WM17 PPV-10th Row

ROH: Front row and entrance aisle quite a few times. NXT Takeover Dallas: 10th row Survivor Series 2003: 3rd row RAW McMahon Apperception Night: 5 row
Everything else I'm in the first set of risers or nosebleeds. I've done limited view which, is good for just saying you're there and closer to stage and the pyro and concussion blasts are a bother.

I managed to sneak into the front row of an ROH show because the chair re-arrangement during a hardcore brawl left an open chair in a corner that wasn't technically part of the seating chart.

I was in the fourth or fifth row on the floor for WWE’s final show at the Civic Arena: the episode of Raw hosted by Flavor Flav.
Remember when Drew McIntyre beat Dean Ambrose in a falls count anywhere match on Raw in one of Ambrose’s final matches in WWE? I was right on the aisle when they brawled through the crowd and into the arena’s club level.
I was three seats away from Dexter Lumis when he appeared in the crowd during a Miz match on Raw. I think fans in that section knew WWE was planning something because a security guard told everyone to stay seated.

Eve isn't exactly a mainstream promotion but I'm still sharing my front row view of a Veny moonsult

I had ramp seats for a Smackdown taping back in 2006 (The one two days after Wrestlemania in Chicago). I've had front row for a house show back in 2019.

I had pretty good seats to a Smackdown at MSG in like 2001... due to my friend's dad working there at the time.
I don't remember how many rows back but we were on the floor.

NWA 74 I was in the second row. NWA Empowered I was in the front row some what. First row of the section but it was on an angle So it was more like a last row. House show in 96 2 Rows from the entrance aisle in one of the rows. Can remember how many rows back but another on in 97 on the floor.

Basically front row at Stardom. The front row ended, and then there were 2 or 3 chairs wider on the 2nd row which is where my partner and I sat. You can see us during Bobbi Tyler and Zoe Lucas’ entrance on the show. I got to see Bea Priestley vs Hana Kimura (Hana really should have won), Kagetsu vs Arisa Hoshiki and Giulia’s debut appearance.

Second row for my very first live wrestling show in 1992. The big matches at the one were Ultimate Warrior vs. Papa Shango and Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels. It was nothing short of a magical experience and I will treasure it forever.

Closest was front row at NXT at Download Festival in 2017. I got high fives from No Way Jose, Kassius Ohno and Roderick Strong. Asuka tripped over a cable during her entrance and literally fell into me.
I also touched Andrade Cien Almas's shoulder, he is a very greasy man.
The worst seats I've had were at a Smackdown house show in November 2012. I was on the floor about 17 rows back which meant I couldn't see much. The card was awful too.

I've been lucky enough to be front row at a few shows, including the first Dynamite in Newark, NJ; a RAW at Barclays (where Riddle got stomped by Seth), a few WWE house shows (including Sunday night at MSG) and a few NJPW shows in NYC. Will be front row for AEW Dynamite in LI in a few weeks. I've done a lot of indies front row but feel like that's a different situation. Was also second row at WWE Survivor Series 1996.
