www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-65108130My mum just saw him in panto this past weekend too. Wherever he is, he's back with Cilla and his own dog. RIP, he was a constant presence on the box, and his talk show even made it on to Doctor Who in series four

This hurts,a genuine nice man who was so kind to dogs and animals and a funny chap in every way,had an amazing character with Lily Savage for all those years. A real legend here in the UK, a wonderful animal lover and a sad loss. Rest in Peace Paul.

So there's a legendary story that Paul himself confirmed a while back where police were raiding a club he was performing at in the 80s for no actual reason except to be dicks, and they were wearing rubber gloves because AIDS paranoia.
Paul just immediately quipped "Hey look, they've come to help with the dishes"

If you haven't go watch Paul O'Grady Little Crackers, I believe someone put his ep up on youtube. It's a short comedy/drama of when he went to see The Exorcist as an 18 year old, written by O'Grady himself. And while he only has a few small parts in it, I refuse to believe he could not make anything in his life not seem funny.

RIP.
If a celeb wants to be involved in charity and/or pushing other causes he was the perfect template. No virtue signalling, hypocrisy, or using it a shield, he truely cared and put a lot of time and money into helping.

Only gif I could find of him. I used to really enjoy his talk show and his time as Lily Savage still brings a smile to my face, I briefly got to meet him at a book signing. R.I.P. Paul
