Here's the thing, you know the moment The Rock said he was down for the match, WWE was always going to drop whatever they were doing so they could do Roman/Rock at Mania so I don't really know if I buy this being a Rock powerplay. I honestly think that this was always going to be an option even with Cody winning the Rumble. Even if it isnt a Rock powerplay in that he had to push for it.Apparently he refuse multiple times in the past and he chooses now of all moments |

We'll get Rock v Roman this year and with no obstacles in his way, Cody will beat Roman next year. It'll be fine. It's not ideal but it hasn't been ideal since he lost last year. I cant take another year of this BS. They can't do this bait and switch **** every year and expect people to be happy |

We'll get Rock v Roman this year and with no obstacles in his way, Cody will beat Roman next year. It'll be fine. It's not ideal but it hasn't been ideal since he lost last year. I cant take another year of this BS. They can't do this bait and switch **** every year and expect people to be happy This is the company that came up with Korporate Kane and Constable Corbin. |

I don't really know how close Rock and Roman actually are, but do you guys think Roman is 100% okay with a years worth of storytelling being pushed aside?

WM10: Yokozuna/Bret Hart/Lex Luger
WM20: Benoit/HHH/HBK
WM30: Bryan/Orton/Batista
It's basically tradition at this point to have 2 challengers for the title every 10th WM anyway so just do the triple threat. Hell a triple threat would probably be easier on the Rock as he can sit out much of it. And of course in all of those prior examples the fan preferred workhorse went over the company favorite.

The most frustrating thing for me is I had always been under the impression that when it came to wrestling, the Rock wasn't selfish or was willing to help put other guys over. Maybe it's because everything else hasn't been going great that he feels a need to protect this last little area? Someone said "If only we had bought more tickets to Black Adam, this wouldn't have happened." I'm hoping the company will come to its senses because Rock-Roman won't be a good match, with Rock winded from his confrontation with Jinder and a Philadelphia crowd that in no way wants this.

It keeps him on the very top another year and the money rolling in, even if the alternative original plan would've been 99.9999999999999999999999999% the same buzz and money. Of course he's happy. I'm not mad about him being happy at all, WWE has done great with him on top but he absolutely sees this as stupid. |

Roman over Rock on Night 1 and Cody over Roman on Night 2 is the only way this can go, without all of this bullshit not being a waste. Honestly, how it is handled from here on out will show us Dwayne's true colors. If he takes the night #1 mania main event and puts over Roman, for a Cody/Roman match, that shows he wants to give back. If he takes the 2nd night, he's doing it for ego |

He always struck me as being the "loyal soldier" type who does what he's asked, although given what Heyman said about how the dog food was his breaking point that does have its limits. As far as last night if he is unhappy about how this is going he did a great job not showing it. |
