not focusing on this particular match... This is probably the worst part of Roman's title run to me. The announcers are all like oh well he cheats but what are you going to do he's just better than other people. How many defenses has Roman won clean? I honestly can't name any offhand There was the SmackDown match with Bryan, there was the Cesaro one where he just crushed him with no resistance at the end, I think Cena? That is all I can think of. |

Rock vs. Roman in the first WWE event inside the Vegas Sphere, the quality of wrestling won't matter when the surrounding trons are blaring all kinds of distracting graphics and such, GET HYPE WrestleMania 41 inside the Las Vegas Sphere would kinda go hard, ngl. So would the ticket prices. Only 18,000 seats, they’re gonna want to get stadium Mania-level returns on that.  |

It doesn't make sense to me the idea that WWE has done this on purpose to get support for Cody like a 'YES movement'.
Cody was already the top star in the company, the story was there for everyone to just enjoy. All this has done is piss people off and yeah maybe people will be more relieved if Cody does eventually get the match back but it's such a stupid backwards way to do it. No way this is on purpose.

It would be insane to work the fans like this, when all it does is focus even more negative energy on the company. I think most fans are willing to separate the Vince horror show from the current product, so it’s not even like it’s worth doing to channel attention elsewhere. I mean sure it might end up like a Yes movement v2.0 but let’s not give the company any credit for that if it does. |

I don't think it was intended as growing support for Cody. I think they fully intended to go ahead with Reigns vs Rock. They might pivot and pretend it was the plan all along though and I'm sure many fans will accept that. The Cody hashtags have become a very neat distraction from other things people could be complaining about.
