I actually think Rock tried really hard on Southland Tales lol and thought it would be his big break as a "serious" actor then when the reception was so bad it scared him off and he decided to just stick to family/action. As someone who has loved most of his albums I thought this one was mid, as MJF and the kids would say. If almost felt like the music version of an Oscar bait film (is Grammy bait a thing?). And a lot of his conscious rap stuff doesn't hit as hard as it used to with his actions the past few years. Hell he even features pieces of shit like Cee-Lo Green and T.I. on the album which completely contradicts some of the messages he tries to convey on other songs. Then again us as wrestling fans probably know better than most how often you have to separate the art from the artist.

Honestly, I'm more surprised that we seemed to have entirely bypassed the fast food preferences. Unless that happened like, 60 - 80 pages ago, and I just missed it, which is a real possibility.

Against all logic, I feel like I suddenly have confidence that they’re going to reverse course and, at the very least, announce a triple threat match for the main event at WrestleMania XL. And that misplaced confidence is purely because the crowd in Tennessee booed the hell out of The Rock.

They're trying to recreate a Daniel Bryan reaction with Cody. A new "Hijack Raw" getting fans to demand Cody. Just like Cody wanted in AEW, and those fans saw right through it.

I mean, look: I won't be as upset about all this as long as Cody walks out of WM having been the one to dethrone Roman. But I've made no secret on this board for YEARS that worked shoots piss me off to no end. Me feeling earlier that Cody would beat Roman in Perth was more feeling there was some other shit involved, not a worked shoot. So if this is in fact worked shoot stuff, I may actually start getting upset.
