Now I’m going to be disappointed if Austin doesn’t show up. Bloodline: Roman Rock Jimmy Solo Faces: Cody Seth ? ? So there are two slots to fill. The question is who makes the most sense? Jey is definitely one. As for the other? Guys like KO and Sami have long moved on from the bloodline. Randy and LA? Don't really fit as perfectly but would work too. And the rest of the roster doesn't really have any anti-bloodline heat. So Austin should still work if they choose to as the 4 man. Drew also helps out Cody, I'm calling it. Yeah, he's a heel and hates Seth, but he's also been screwed by the Bloodline and hasn't let it go. You had Seth's promo on Monday where he puts it in Drew's head that at Mania there's a bigger fight. Drew beats Seth earlier in the night, does a run in with everybody thinking he's gonna help Roman but he blasts a member of the Bloddline. He still remains a heel after, it's just that the fight against the Bloodline is bigger.

To be the people's champ you have to be strong, you have to be hard, you have to be able to withstand pressure better than anyone else, like a diamond. The only true counter to the rock is clear

I don’t give a shit who wins the tag match. Just as long as Cody wins the title when it’s all said and done I really wish I felt confident that they'll do that but the way they're building this match really doesn't feel like the kind of build it'd have if Cody was winning. Feels like it's just going to be ripped away from him again some way or other. Okay, so then serious question: if you have no faith in getting a storyline payoff you wanted, why did you even make this thread? If I had the same mindset as you did in your original post or throughout the topic, I wouldn’t even bother to order Wrestlemania. Heck, I wouldn’t even be watching the shows anymore if I had the same feelings you did about this angle.

Heck, I wouldn’t even be watching the shows anymore if I had the same feelings you did about this angle. I mean, I already have already stated multiple times I have no intention of bothering to watch Roman / Cody until I know for sure Cody's won it, and the only real reason I made the thread at the time is that in the moment like a lot of people I thought that they were finally, at long last, doing the right thing and ending this title reign I've wanted to end basically every single the first KO match years ago and then nope, it was yet another rug pull and I just had to vent about it in the moment because, this company being what it is, it was obvious this reign was going to limp along for at least another miserable year and sure enough that is exactly what has happened. As for still watching the Bloodline's stuff, like, I largely don't? Tonight was the first SmackDown I've watched in ages, kind of mostly because I expected some actual story progression and instead just got the Rock rambling about cocaine for 40 minutes, and the only Roman PPV match I've seen in the past year havs been the Rumble four way which I paid almost no attention tomatch, and I've skipped plenty of the others in the time preceding including every single Brock match. I want this shit to be over with so I can start actually caring about SmackDown and its title scene again instead of being bogged down in the utter f***ing miserable dogshit that is Roman's 20 minute waddle to the ring followed by having the same match he always has while the commentators squeal in delight at how amazing this boring shit is. And even ignoring that, like, one act doesn't make or break a show. I've seen good PPVs ended by shit Roman matches plenty in the past and it makes more sense to hope they'll end this damn thing than to completely cut the company out of my life entirely due to one terrible storyline involving one terrible wrestler. Like, I just want it to end. That's all I want out of it. Roman could lose it on a house show to Akira Tozawa tomorrow and I'd take it. But Cody is basically the only realistic option so that's what I'm hitching my wagon to, because if they rug pull on this reign AGAIN - which I'm inclined to think they're going to given that's all they've done for four boring years at this point - then it's going to be yet another year at minimum. And whenever it does end I won't see it, because the only time I'm watching another Roman title match is if I know he's already lost it before doing so because I'm not here for the climax of the reign, I'm here to have this shit over with so we can do something better.

It was atrocious. So yeah, most likely Roman & The Rock win. That way, Rock gets a W in his first match back and the stakes are raised for (what you would think) is Cody finally prevailing. But it does have me thinking Seth’s gotta be the fall guy. And you’d think he also loses the next night to Drew, which, damn man poor Seth lol As far as Austin goes, yea, I’m dying for that to happen too but they’d have to at the least hint at it. It’d be random AF if he just showed up out of nowhere. If Cody and Seth win night one, you’ve got to imagine Roman is retaining night 2. Alternately if rock pins Cody in the tag, then Cody beats Roman the next night, that could give more fuel for the eventual rock/Roman. Hadn’t really thought of that. Great point! Bloodline: Roman Rock Jimmy Solo Faces: Cody Seth ? ? So there are two slots to fill. The question is who makes the most sense? Jey is definitely one. As for the other? Bloodline running havoc, Roman looking like he’s set to win and EVERYONE Bloodlines screwed over gets theirs. Including Drew. Total endgame Avengers Assemble moment I only would think they wouldn’t because they probably want to keep Drew heel. Bloodline: Roman Rock Jimmy Solo Faces: Cody Seth ? ? So there are two slots to fill. The question is who makes the most sense? Jey is definitely one. As for the other? Guys like KO and Sami have long moved on from the bloodline. Randy and LA? Austin/Rock going face to face one more time would be incredible, although it might overshadow Cody/Reigns. I really don’t think it would. Lot of dudes get compared to the Austin/Rocky feel, but it doesn’t bother me with Cody/Roman. Seems appropriate. The two guys of the last time WWE was on fire, symbolically handing over the torch to the new guys on top of WWE ,while it’s a great product. But as I’ve said that’s it. If Austin faces off against rock, helps Cody Flipping Rhodes finally win the title there is no cigarette potent enough for that kind of high. Nothings gonna top that for another decade.

I can see it now, the other bloodline members are fighting off Seth and Jey, while Rock and Roman are beating up Cody (ref's been taken out and it's no DQ). Then we hear the glass shattering and the biggest pop ever happens, Austin stuns Rock (if he can take that bump, otherwise just have him be thrown outside the ring), the ref FINALLY recovers, and Cody hits the crossrhodes on a confused Roman.
