Calling back to that, "Cody's story is to both beat Roman and win the belt, saving the princess and killing the dragon are the game goal," post from the other day, forget who posted it but it was a good sum-up, this whole thing really is like if the knight went, "Eh, someone else will take care of it," and went to go save a different princess from an ogre instead because it seems easier. ... which Princess is hotter? |

More logical, better continuity (things are not just dropped like they constantly were). They’ve added more vignettes. Gotten rid of alot of the jargon that commentators would say and the commentators in general are freer to show their talents. Given people their names back. Avoided having so many rematches. I think match quality has improved. Titles have been treated with more importance. A ton of talent up and down the card have stories and are over with the crowd. Etc I agree with all of this but still think they did a historically dumb thing tonight. Agreed |

Last year they didn’t just randomly have him give up the f***ing WrestleMania main event. Right they had him promise a bunch of things, have his family and Brodie Jr. at ringside, and then lose in the same way everyone lost against Roman. And then he was even more over Yes, all things that tug at the heartstrings and made me (and others) want to see him win *THE MAIN EVENT HE GAVE UP TONIGHT.* the whole thing is just insanity. |

They have missed so many moments to the altar of Roman. Drew in the UK. Sami in Montreal. Cody at Mania twice. So many moments that could have been special that they’ve decided not to do. After looking back on the Clash at the Castle match with Drew and watching Roman's reign become a parody of itself after... yeah, I still think Drew should've won. F***ing Cesaro should have won. |

I'm in canada so the network is part of my cable package. I was keeping it till mania with the Netflix deal. Only reason I had cable. Now I'm canceling it early. This is not something I have any interest in. I guess bell can blame the rock for losing another customer lol Cancelled my Peacock subscription myself. It's only $2 a month for me right now, and I want to watch NXT, but no interest in giving them more money right now and it's due to renew tomorrow so out the window it goes. I'm saving like 175 bucks lol. So a great deal for me. Second wrestlemania I'm skipping since since I first had ppv options back at 19 |

Yeah it’s not great booking of course. I just am not sure this will torpedo Cody in any demonstrable way when we’re looking months down the road. He’s presumably still going to be the face of Raw, and presumably will get to finish the story against Roman later in the year. We’ll see if he loses crowd support. |
