More logical, better continuity (things are not just dropped like they constantly were). They’ve added more vignettes. Gotten rid of alot of the jargon that commentators would say and the commentators in general are freer to show their talents. Given people their names back. Avoided having so many rematches. I think match quality has improved. Titles have been treated with more importance. A ton of talent up and down the card have stories and are over with the crowd. Etc

That, and multiple matches are advertised in advance of a show now. Far less "up next, Nia and Lana in a tables match" stuff they used to pull.

Babyfaces also seem a lot better than they used to be (tonight's final segment may have undone a lot of that).

Perhaps that's expecting the bare minimum out of a wrestling promotion, but this is a long way from the doldrums of Pandemic-era WWE (the egg, zombies eating Miz and Morrison, Retribution, Raw Underground etc).

No booker ever bats 1.000, and HHH (along with possibly Dwayne) proved it tonight. They made me feel like a complete mark for believing in Cody.

It sounds like they're following up Rocky proving he could go the distance with Apollo Creed in the first movie by having Rocky face Spider Rico again for a local championship while Apollo Creed takes on his stupid cousin who was a big-time boxer 25 years ago.

Do I have that right?

Full Segment of the promo has 12k likes an 27k dislikes. WWE are going to be surprised when this gets a lot of backlash. Cody has a lot of support, I don't think WWE realize what they have in Cody Rhodes, and his immense support he gets from fans. This reek of the WrestleMania 30 mess all over again, and The Rock may be who he is, but I think fans might sour on him.

Step 1) Cody beats Seth for the belt.

Step 2) Roman retains against the Rock.

Step 3) Cody runs out with the MITB briefcase which Damien Priest lost to him in a backstage APA impromptu poker cash table.

Step 4) Before he cashes in Jon Moxley and Samoa Joe jump out of the crowd and whips Solo and Jimmy’s asses. Roman is so distraught about this turn of events that he is easy pickings for Cody.

Step 5) Cody trashes WWE and bolts outside with Moxley and Joe and Tony Khan is waiting with a limo.

Yup, it still wouldn't be great because I'd like for the women (whether it's Rhea vs. Becky or Iyo vs. Bayley) or even Seth to get one of the main events. You're right though, it's probably not going to happen anyway.
