Nah, Philly will shit all over this. There will be a lot of we want Cody chants aimed at Rock. He'll get them before that too. I really don't think they will, Philly is known for being a smark crowd but as others have mentioned those people are pretty much gone. Mania could pull them back out... There was a pretty decent mix of smarks and casuals last year and LA is way less smarky than Philly. I just don't see it. I f***ing despise this but I don't see the boos coming or some type of Daniel Bryan thing. If the crowd starts doing an Eagles chant(the ultimate sign of disrespect during a non Eagles game in Philly) during the match I will die. The "Trust the Process" chant during Jinder/Orton was one of my personal favorite wrestling moments. |

Let's say the backlash stuns them and even Dwayne realizes that Cody v Roman is best for Mania so they insert him into the match or rebook it a la WM30. How do they explain Cody's actions tonight in kayfabe? Temporary insanity? He was lying to mess with Roman's head? "I was only joking!" Dwayne doesn’t care. Anyone who thinks he will get a sudden case of the guilts and pull out is kidding themselves (unless he gets injured) |
