I found this out after I popped a tire and was pulled over on the off shoulder off an exit ramp on the freeway. NGL, I laughed my ass off and it took my mind off the tire.

Uhhh yeah this sucks lol. I literally asked a kid today who was a wrestling fan who he thought Cody was going to choose at ‘Mania. He said “Roman! It has to be Roman! Cody has to beat him!” f***ing..hell lol

Punk ruins everything. He ruined AEW he inadvertently ruined WrestleMania. WWE has been insanely great this last year and Vince, f***ing Vince, and his hubris has just cratered it, it feels. Like his ego always did.

Royal Rumble felt like it had the wind knocked out of it and now this.

Yeah... there was definitely talk at the time he was absolutely making moves to be involved if not the head of DC's Cinematic Universe going forward.

Bryan had to win the world title by beating HHH and then wrestling the SAME NIGHT in that triple threat, it's the opposite formula to a satisfying ending.

Cody faces Orton on Night 1, much like how Bret faced Owen. Or if you want Cody to lose, he faces Gunther (although I think Gunther's IC title reign should end at Mania), and that continues to set the stage for Cody vs Gunther for the title.

I enjoyed it when I saw it in the theater, but the best thing about the movie was the JSA. Brosnan (Doctor Fate), Hodge (Hawkman), Centineo (Atom Smasher), and Swindell (Cyclone) did most of the heavy lifting to carry the movie. Brosnan and Hodge did the most.

I am sure the Rock will post some inspiring thing on his IG page after he loses about why its important to give back to the business.

Both nights of Wrestlemania are already pretty much sold out and all the ad space is already gone, and its not a PPV anymore, so it wont really impact the bottom-line at all, and you're losing to a guy who does not really need a boost as he's been champ for 4 years now, but yes Dwayne you helped the business.

Honestly I would not be shocked whatsoever if Rock wins and it comes out later, "Roman was due to go over then last minute Rock insisted he should win to set up a rematch," that then never happens.

Is it possible, however unlikely, that WWE is not this stupid and that the segment tonight is meant to fast track a Rock heel turn which results in a triple threat main event? Like are we going to get backstage segments where the Rock is snickering at how he conned his way into the main event? Thinking he outplayed Cody. But then Cody finds out, tells Rock that he let him have the main event of Mania, but he still won the Royal Rumble and still technically has the right...


....they're just throwing away the good will of the fans when they need it the most aren't they? I am drinking crazy juice.

Think he’s just getting old. He’s fallen out of the zeitgeist. Doesn’t have his finger on the pulse and so he’s trying extra hard. And it shows.

I always found it peculiar that he posts all his Make a Wish stuff on social media. 

John Cena has never done that, and hell, even Hulk Hogan does not grandstand with that stuff (he still does some Make a Wish stuff in Florida)

Remember when WWE spent all of Survivor Series a few years ago sucking off The Rock and promotiong his new movie, and he didn't even send a pretaped promo in? And now they 'feel like they need' him. It's kind of wild.

I can't even tell by what metric they could possibly need him. Merch sales are good. Ratings are good. The Mania tickets are already sold. They just signed a bunch of new TV deals. They have more main event level faces than they've possibly ever had. The only way it makes sense to "need" him is if they genuinely think it'll distract from the Vince shit which, like, it obviously won't, absolutely no chance of that.

There’s something darkly hilarious about Cody having a really good response at that press conference, everyone else vomiting idiotically all over themselves when asked about it and the outcome is him losing his spot to this old man.

Like he saved your ass or tried to for a bit there.. and this is how you do him. He’ll stay over as ever but I wouldn’t blame him for feeling real hard up about it. What a way to pay the guy back when none of the talent should’ve been first to take questions anyways due to the circumstances.

I mean, ya I hate it. But they could have booked this way better. Cody could have gone on RAW and told some story about how the WHC was the one way to connect back with his father or something, and then have Roman brag about who he's now supposed to wrestle, for the Rock's music to hit. Ya, there would still be a bit of backlash, but I don't think it would have been this bad.

I don't get why they thought recreating the ending to Wrestlemania 9 was a good idea. I don't think anyone in the industry has ever spoke highly about it, but sure, neuter Cody like a simp
