Because WWE hyped the shit out of a prop for a movie, and not just any movie but a Netflix original that wasn't The Adam Project or Roma. They were acting like the EGG was bigger than Dorothy's ruby slippers, or Vader's lightsaber, or Indy's whip. It was a got-dang EGG, and WWE was acting like it's a priceless Hollywood artifact. maybe that’ll fix theory. have him carry the EGG around and keep it on him like a Pokémon trainer until one day it hatches and it’s like, a koala in there. Given the despair that's come from that stupid egg between Rock being Rock and Austin Theory's push, I think it'd more be like this.  |

I am very happy Rock/Roman is going to happen! It is the perfect huge match for a milestone Mania like WM40. As far as Cody goes, I'm sure everyone wants their story to end with beating the biggest opponent at the biggest show of the year in the main event for the biggest title, but it doesn't have to go like that. Ideally, Rock dethrones Roman, sets things right with the family, and then he puts over Cody in the summer. You can do Roman/Cody after that, and Cody proves himself there by going over Roman. They can very well still make this work, but it depends on Rock's commitment to it. Lets say this happens and he is champion for a short time, who would you have him face and how many matches do you think they could get out of him? Don’t mean it as a gotcha, I just can’t really think of storylines or feuds that leap off the page besides bloodline members. |

Main thing that bothers me is Seth's titles feels so second rate to me. It wouldn't be the same accomplishment beating the guy with the paper title when the real champion is right there.
They merged two real titles for Roman and then noone could get them off him so they've pulled a phony third one out of the air.
I know it's wrestling, not boxing or something, so lineage and all that does not matter as it's fake, but it still sucks.

Rocky’s body is going explode into a million little pieces the first time Roman makes the tiniest impact on him. Then what? Like, nobody is seriously expecting an actual *match* out of Steroids McGymmuscles, right? The guy ripped his own guts out the last time and that was before any elementary school-aged fans were even *born*. He was blown after doing literally one move and delivering a promo that barely hindered Jinder. And somebody with authority thinks “yeah, here’s our big Wrestlemania 40 main-eventer. I hope Rocky’s not scheduled to film any movies in the near future, otherwise Mr Seven Bucks is gonna **** up a lot of working people’s jobs at risk. And that’s not even taking into account how much of a popcorn fart it’d be having the guy who killed the DCEU (and should’ve been charged with the financial crimes he absolutely committed in the process) end the longest title reign in decades. I don’t like it 😛 Maybe they could hide his age in a brawl like Austin Owens |

It's the equivalent of winning the Rumble, and declining the top spot, world title shot, to face the IC champ in the mid-card. As much as WWE does not want to hear it, the first night's main event is not the same as the 2nd night's. Everyone knows the very last match at Mania is THE match, and Cody willingly past that up, along with 15 months of build for the Rock |

I found this out after I popped a tire and was pulled over on the off shoulder off an exit ramp on the freeway. NGL, I laughed my ass off and it took my mind off the tire. Uhhh yeah this sucks lol. I literally asked a kid today who was a wrestling fan who he thought Cody was going to choose at ‘Mania. He said “Roman! It has to be Roman! Cody has to beat him!” f***ing..hell lol Punk ruins everything. He ruined AEW he inadvertently ruined WrestleMania. WWE has been insanely great this last year and Vince, f***ing Vince, and his hubris has just cratered it, it feels. Like his ego always did. Royal Rumble felt like it had the wind knocked out of it and now this. Given the circumstances with why WWE has to shuffle things around with injuries and Vince, let alone whatever's next to come from it. They are doing what they think is the "best route to take." for business. When the People's Champion just got hoed by Corporate Rock. Lol. I'm interested to see what level the crowd turns on this. They absolutely deserve the backlash if it happens. Both WWE & The Rock, which in itself is hilarious cuz Rock won’t go heel. I guess Roman clowning on him could be funny. |

Looking it up apparently it was called Red Notice and got horrible reviews, and the provided metrics indicate that there is absolutely no way in which it remotely turned a profit, but Netflix is still presently working on two sequels right now because Netflix just loves to piss money away.

Mania's a f***ing farce man, they claim to build it a whole year and then banked on Punk so hard they have to screw Cody over in the process like some weird domino effect? What a spit in the face of everyone who grinds there for an entire year to try get to their big moments and draw fans every single week, like truly. |
