Does anyone even remember what that EGG movie was called? Has anyone seen it? Looking it up apparently it was called Red Notice and got horrible reviews, and the provided metrics indicate that there is absolutely no way in which it remotely turned a profit, but Netflix is still presently working on two sequels right now because Netflix just loves to piss money away. This booking decision is reminding me of how the Last Airbender series trailer looked really promising to start and then the producers went on that PR spree and decidedly f***ed every piece of potential hope and good will they had in presenting that said trailer by showing everyone they have no clue what the f*** they're doing...

I ain't gonna blame Punk as much as I'm blaming Rock because ultimately this was his decision Punk got hurt, that sucks, unfortunate luck, Rock using that as a springboard to apparently lobby to get this match to "Distract from the McMahon drama" is not only a dick move but it's like... extremely scummy in so many aspects... Also feels insane to me that they also said with Punk getting hurt they didn't think Mania's card wasn't strong enough anymore... dude just got here a few months ago and hadn't had any on screen wrestling until the Rumble... Mania's a f***ing farce man, they claim to build it a whole year and then banked on Punk so hard they have to screw Cody over in the process like some weird domino effect? What a spit in the face of everyone who grinds there for an entire year to try get to their big moments and draw fans every single week, like truly. I said inadvertently Yeah I got you, I was just saying where my ire's really directed myself It's so f***ing weird that you could trace the domino effect to this moment where Cody got f***ed over to "Black Adam flops at the Box Office" and be very serious about it...

So what was the f***ing point of Cody winning the rumble then ? Ffs WWE. The point was for him to challenge Roman at Mania, very blatantly But then The Rock happened.

The more I think about it the more f***ing stupid it is.
You have Rhodes go back to back at the Rumble, the first time in 25+ years, you have him there pointing at Roman and you have a really cool moment.
And then f***ing this.
f*** Dwayne forever, seriously, it's worse than anything Hogan ever did.

I think this is why, and correct me if this is not the case because I feel like you’d be right at the forefront of it if it wasn’t, people aren’t absolutely blasting him with the bitch stuff. Like, the guy’s just been absolutely hosed out of almost certainly winning the big one, at least in April, there’s no glory in kicking him while he’s down.

It’s a complete domino effect, Rock being available, Punk getting injured, the Vince stuff implicating Lesnar etc. They’ve completely pivoted from the plan they had prior to last Saturday which was to be Punk/Rollins and Rhodes/Reigns to whats now likely to be Rhodes/Rollins and Rock/Reigns

And that while you've seen some comments online blasting Triple H, most know it wasn't his call. The Rock is his boss, if Rock wants something, he's gotta do it. The obvious story being set up was Cody vs Roman at Mania, but Rock happened.

Maybe The Rock should've just won the Rumble. The whole story only makes sense if Cody beats Roman at Mania. Even if they do it at EC and Cody wins what does he do for Mania? They'd have a month to build something up for him and it wouldn't be nearly as big or important as the match against Roman. I just don't get it. I mean it's a big money match but this just feels like they're rushing it.

Cody's face when Rock came out also really felt like this was just made official because he looked about as heartbroken as I've ever seen him. When Rock pulls him in to whisper in his ear, Cody is smirking through the whole thing, until something Rock says makes his face just immediately reset to a glum default look, like someone just got told their puppy died. Just one moment and then the next and I can only presume The Rock was telling him his Mania plans with Reigns are done, and probably to get the hell out of "his"(as in The Rock's) ring.
