To be honest, I don't really give a f*** about anything WWE does these days, I knew they were never going to really get behind Cody Rhodes as a legitimate top guy, but I at least expected them to give him the belt here though. If for nothing else, the optics of showing potential top AEW talents the sort of treatment they could expect if they followed suit. The only thing I can assume is that they're instead doing the change in Saudi Arabia which... WOOF, that's an unfortunate look. Othewrwise, what was the point of any of this? What does it matter if the title reign hits 1,000 days? That's not a record breaking number. So then is he just going to hold it forever now? Boy, sounds compelling.

I do feel like they're doing the match again in Saudi Arabia, because they have literally no one else who's a believable challenger to Roman right now unless he just beats Edge again, but if they do Roman's winning again.

The Saudi Shows are pretty notorious for when Brock Lesnar gets his payday so... if they did Roman vs Lesnar for the belt again, I would not be surprised, also it'd let me know I'm not missing a damn thing in skipping the show... not that I was missing anything anyway lol

I'm not saying this is a good reason as I think Cody should of won tonight, But the ONLY thing I can see coming from this Is when Roman told Cody that when he fails at something or things don't go his way he runs. From Stardust to AEW, He ran from failure ( in Roman's eyes ) and now he failed at Wrestlemania.

Now on top of everything else Cody must prove he won't run from this failure. Again, Not saying this is a great reason but that is the only part of tonight that makes sense going forward.
