I still can't believe Cody thought that tattoo was a good idea, like that thing has actively hurt his career more than helped it That tattoo is ugly as hell to me as an adult and I wouldn't want to be seen in public with something like that on my neck but kids seem to love it and it's great for marketing. I think it's a large part why he's their top merch seller right now. Like if Cody got that tattoo on his arm like a normal person I don't think it's as popular and as big of a deal. That American Nightmare logo was a thing for a few years before he ever got the tattoo and wasn't much of a thing but now it's everywhere. Kids had little American Nightmare temporary neck tattoos at Wrestlemania. Since getting that tattoo he got his own reality show, a featured role in another TV show, won the Royal Rumble, main evented Wrestlemania and is apparently up for movie roles. He's doing better than ever. I don't know how you can say it hurt his career. People dunking on you on the internet means nothing in the grand scheme of things if in real life you're selling out arenas and your merch is flying off the shelves. |

the issue with his tattoo is more placement and size than the actual like design of it.
it's too big for where it is and it really makes no sense being there...
if it was his shoulder it wouldn't even be a blip...
