So, I was born in August 1986. I think at least 50% of the board was born around then or later. Thus, I have only been able to imagine what the Black Saturday of 1984 must have felt like. I think Raw on Monday was as close as we can come to it. For those who need a refresher - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Saturday_(professional_wrestling)

Yeah I have to imagine a lot of talent are in trouble here, especially the ones HHH specifically brought back or pushed because he liked them, Kross, a lot of the girls he brought back, LA Knight, Bray, etc I have to feel like if Vince is back in charge all the peeps he brought back are on the chopping block, and I also have to feel some talents actually will want to leave, Drew's deal hasn't been renewed and I can't imagine this helps, Asuka and Bayley both sound super pissed off, Braun was cut by Vince before so idk if he's safe, and Ali seemed to come back when Vince was gone even if his bookings been shit either way I can't see everyone who has been under HHH staying, whether they want to or not in some cases, if Vince is back in full control.
You were saying?
As typical with mergers, we're likely gonna see a lot of people get released. The question now becomes who gets let go in the midst of all this.

This is honestly so depressing, I keep thinking there’s hope but there really isn’t, is there?

Imagine if scar killed simba at the end of the Lion King. That’s what it was lol

WrestleMania was the lowest I've felt about WWE since coming back in 2020. The only thing that's come close to making me as salty was Bianca getting squashed by Becky, lol.

The worse part for me was how high Night 1 made me. Cena v Theory was average but every other match delivered. By itself it was a top 10 Mania for me. Couldn't wait for Night 2. It's like Night 1 was showing us how good the WWE could be without Vince. Night 2 and Raw showed that it simply isn't obtainable.

What's next? Return of the 24/7 championship and the title chasing gang of jobbers?

Vince is truly evil. The guy just won’t go away after he is obviously senile. He looks like a complete goof with that hair dye and tilted mustache. I really hope that some people will walk away from WWE. I know that the money is hard to walk away from obviously, but something needs to be done in order to get this man away from the creative side of the product. Vince is truly the Al Davis of professional wrestling.

Well it's been reported morale is really low right now several people have asked for releases but there's no word on if they'll actually be granted, and then more ominous tweets that Friday might be the day we see a purge so... we'll see who is gonna be around and not probably as this week goes.

I really hope that some people will walk away from WWE. I know that the money is hard to walk away from obviously, but something needs to be done in order to get this man away from the creative side of the product. Vince is truly the Al Davis of professional wrestling. yeah...this is the same guy who sold the family business to get MORE money that he DOESN'T EVEN NEED (which I get is the point). He built a self-sustaining business model that succeeded no matter what he did, something any business owner would kill to achieve. Vince could have sat back and lived off the millions of dollars in profit WWE would net him every year, and he could continue to book it into the ground, and live the rest of his days earning more money than he would know what to do with. Dude is almost 80. Sold the generational business, and his absolute power, to (I assume) spite his family, and pad that bank account that he's already too advanced in years to spend what's already in there. Because he's addicted to money, power, and being an asshole. Granted the allegations probably sped it along, but this was set in motion before that. It's wild to think about. Just like it's wild to think about dude played the long game, and got everything he wanted, including the control of the company back. I hate the man, but he's crafty as f***. He played the game (hah) and made it so not only did nothing come of the allegations, he danced around land mine's until he came out clean on the other side. Truly evil? Yeah. Vince is a case of a truly horrible human being. Steroids, sexual harrassment, rape, you name it he's immune. And it's f***ing disgusting how the world is tailored to fit the rich and the powerful who can get away with anything. Was HHH perfect? No. Of course not. But for 9 months people were given chances, people were hired back, people were happy at work, and while I didn't agree with all of it it wasn't insulting, and it made sense from booking and long term storytelling. It was comfortable in more ways than one, and I looked forward to the future past WM when it would be HHH's show free of the storylines he inherited. Poor Michael Cole, poor Bray, and the dozens of other workers who were fired, re-hired, and now have to live in fear again. If he doesn't show up Friday to SDL, fine. But there's still a dark cloud over a lot of talent that wasn't there until the deal was signed on Night 1 of WM, when Vince took back over for Night 2 to now. Sorry but this just has me pissed, and my brain is all "AGHHHHHHHHH!" It's melodramatic, but sometimes there's just no justice in the world, and the bad guys win. It made me watch NXT this week, that's how "AGHHHHHH" my brain was! Sorry, had to vent. Carry on.
