I’m very upset about last night, yet I am very eager to watch Raw. Which kind of upsets me that’s what my brain is doing. They need a great follow up for me, and I’m usually one of the biggest WWE defenders on this board.
What if HHHUnter comes out tonight to say Roman can keep his titles, but now has to stay on Smackdown (appeasing Fox finally, given it's soon time to do rights deals) and they're having a tournament for a new WWE title for Raw.
Cody can win that.
He gets a belt, but doesnt get to beat Roman, whose reign can continue forever.

That was the plan for Mania if Rock had agreed to fight Roman, from what Meltzer reported.
I’d say they should announce that the world title and tag titles will now be defended separately from now on, and you can have Cody win the WWE Title in the next few months, while Roman’s Universal reign continues.
