I'm really curious if the BC Black and Gold is just a rebranded BC USA to reflect AEW's colors of black, white, and gold, but it's still part of the wider BC organization. Basically, kinda like other sub-groups like House of Torture, Rogue Army, or the original incarnation of the Elite where it's Jay's little BC-affiliated fiefdom. Or if this is the BC Wolfpac to Dave Finlay's BC Black and White. Though the funny thing is that Black and Gold seems firmly in the heel camp where BC USA has been shown as more tweener-ish on Impact, depending on the angle demands. Really, really curious to see where this leads. But I'd totally buy a BC Black and Gold logo shirt if that's what they showed on the Tonytrons when Jay made his entrance. Early merch looks a little lame, ngl That's ELP's logo, not their overall logo Might imply ELP is gonna be with them, if that's the case, fantastic, Phantasmo's f***ing tremendous and he was great at the first Forbidden Door, might've made the most new fans that night

ELP's getting over like rover in Japan right now, and given the tension with him and Finlay it might lead to him breaking off from BC, can't say for sure yet (if anything happened at Sakura Genesis, I haven't watched it yet).
I'm guessing Jay was making a joke with the "black and gold" thing, playing off the Wolfpac recolor gimmick by just mentioning AEW's colors...but hey, if they wanted to do something like that for real it might work.
