It also feels like Sami and KO didn’t really accomplish anything at Mania.
The USO’s didn’t even really sell their loss much this week.

It really should have felt like a seismic blow to the Bloodline to lose the tag titles but because Reigns has gone on vacation again everything has to go into a holding pattern for the next few weeks so nothing really happened. Apart from Jey Uso teasing a babyface turn only to stay heel for the 3rd time since this story began?

Pretty sure they’re going to have him fully Bloodline for a bit longer, especially while Roman is away. And then revisit later in the year, when the storyline will likely be red hot again Or it will be met with indifference, especially as they've teased Jey breaking away from The Bloodline on multiple occasions now and each time, it gets harder to get invested.

Right. I think we've officially entered "Boy who cried wolf" territory with this shit now.

There is a hypothetically interesting story of Jey finally standing up to Roman, but finding himself without any allies because all the babyfaces are pissed at him for taking so long to grow a spine and no one trusts him to not go back on his word.
The problem is that its hard to imagine there will be that much audience interest in it by that point given how much things are on the verge of cooling off with the Bloodline already.

Also while that would actually be an interesting angle, it requires a level of vulnerability, emotional honesty, and value in the company of others from its characters that WWE really does not do a good job on and oftentimes seems to adamantly not want its wrestlers to show. I doubt that'd be the direction we'd actually get a Jey face turn if we do one day actually get it, which sucks because that'd be the only way to really justify this idea.

wwe can squeeze in another 7 or 8 times in the next 12 months.
have they at least had Jey say "I can't believe you keep falling for this" yet? (I only get to watch ppv's so have no clue.)

They did this same type of prolonged "there's issues in the nWo brother oh no!!" only for it to lead nowhere shit week after week in WCW and everyone rightfully criticizes it but when WWE does it it's "long term storytelling" for some reason lol The WM main event really is starting to feel like Starrcade '97 all over again, lol (except Hulk actually lost).

How long until even the most hardcore fans of the story start thinking, "You know what? This isn't interesting anymore."

I Don't Care About Jey's Mixed Feelings Anymore
There we go, fixed the title for you.

HHH is great at building heat but terrible at paying heat off. Was the same nonsense during his reign of terror. He did the same thing with Asuka in NXT where instead of having someone beat her down there she got called up without dropping the title so someone else could get the rub. He’s doing the same thing with the Bloodline now. Basic psychology dictates that if you keep jerking people around they’re eventually going to lose interest and then what should be a huge moment becomes a “I’m just glad that it’s over moment”. Especially this deep into a run where an injury or anything could happen. Drew had the home crowd and the first PPV in UK in ages. Sami had the story and the home crowd. If you want to push it off to WM that was fine. Cody was very over and the arena wanted to explode. Now it’s just like they’ve taken the edging too long and no one can get off. LMAO This has to be the most accurate analogy of WWE's current booking that I have seen. Like let us come already, I'm tired and I want to go home.

Honestly SD overall kind of left me with the feeling of, for all of the hype about Mania, it really did not resolve it even progress anything.
It feels like it’s just the same stuff as before Mania.

We're back to Jey teasing being unhappy again?
So why did Roman beat Cody again?

Is going to the have the bloodline red and black?
They undercut all their biggest moments to make Roman look strong or stretch things out another few weeks to when it finally happened it was big reaction but no where as huge of a pop it could have been.

They did the false face turn multiple times when Flair was HHH's lackey during the Reign of Terror. Oh Flair is having a crisis of confidence! He knows he's being used! He wants to be his own man! Will he finally turn on HHH?
Nope, it was a false turn. Again. Then by the time they did split nobody cared.

That kind of happens every year, at least since whenever they started making Backlash the rematches show.

They had teases of Batista eyeing HHH’s title, IIRC, but never something like the Jey stuff.

Hell, Orton was doing what Sami was doing to Batista around the Rumble that year in the build to Orton/HHH. If that just lead to him signing the contract and going to Smackdown, man, that would have just been flat.

The people who legitimately thought Jey would be the one to chase Roman for the title, let alone everything they've done would totally justify him doing that, really went up in smoke last night
Like even in some crazy scenario where he still turns on the Bloodline, much like Cody, they've diminished the return. He's almost turned on Roman like four times now and then just doesn't and/or beats down the face again, shit's dumb and tiring, and the crowd reactions definitely reflect that
They won't commit to any Bloodline struggle at all, it's like they don't know how to write the show anymore without them and balked at Mania and now we're just stuck with this shit lol
