Good for her but I hope she is allowed to carry on working indies and internationally because it'll do more to help her get better than aew will. Plus selfishly I hoped to see her live in the UK for eve and I'm not going to the show she's booked on, or maybe GCW.
Crazy she had relatively high profile matches in Japan before she'd even finished school (basically they equivalent of main eventing a TV show and featuring on a ppv).
She's working EVE next month, can't imagine they'd make her cancel if she's signed
Yeah, they usually don't have issues with that kind of thing. Plenty of the lower card work indies, and even some of the higher level people do.
I'm pretty sure at least once I was in a class with two people who had the same first AND last name.
I know it isn't what you mean by "same first and last name" but I had a student worker named William Williams. I think he might have even been a "the third" or something.
Apparently there are no shortages of William Williams out there as Wikipedia needs a page like this just for the notable ones
I read that she's already had over 360 matches at 18, and damn that seems like a lot of wear and tear on a still developing body. I know it's really common in places like Mexico and Japan but damn that just seems crazy to me.
She's pretty wreckless too. Rookies in in Japan might start young but wrestle a more basic style to start with but Starkz is landing on her head on dives to the outside she probably shouldn't even be attempting.
Not really related but this made me laugh when it happened
Billie Starkz has had 365 matches. Skye Blue has had 242, Anna Jay 77, and Jade Cargill 57. AEW should really be looking to get their women nearer to Starkz's numbers because it'll make them so much better.
It also shows how insane it is for an American woman's wrestler to have had 365 matches by the age of 18.

Letting them work indies is the way to go. Skye has been as of late. More should.
I’ve been an advocate that Dark should be more than just squash matches for talent that needs work. That’s where Jade should have been having longer matches with veterans the whole time. Same for Anna, etc.
When I first saw Billie on Dark it Elevation, having known nothing about her from her age to whether she could even wrestle, my first thought was that she looked like a total non event, I don't think I've ever changed my mind on someone so much so quick once I actually saw her work, she's an absolute prodigy, insane that she's only 18. Tony clearly knows it too having given her such a competitive match with Jade, honestly can't wait to see how the likes of her and Nick Wayne progress in the coming years.
I think they're waiting for her to graduate high school then it'll get announced. Because the chuds will pounce once they hear about AEW hiring someone in high school
