showbuzzdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/2023-4-10-Mon-FinalCable-LSD.pngHour 1: 1.755 million (0.56) Hour 2: 1.964 million (0.64) Hour 3: 1.734 million (0.58) Average: 1.818 million (0.59) Down 402,000 and 0.17 from last week, though not exactly like it was expected to match it and still got the top slots for the night. Though less viewers than the week before as well and demo's just over it so pretty much everybody who tuned in post-Mania immediately bounced afterward.

4th highest number of the year and highest demo besides last week since January 30th.
Up around 10% year over year.
Interesting to see the spike in viewership and demo for Hour 2.

I was wondering what the numbers was looking like coming off such a bad show last week. The drop was expected from me. Interesting to see the spike in hour 2.

Their viewership has been skewing younger lately so they’ve been putting up very high demos with pretty steady viewership (but not as big a spike in viewership year to year as the demo increase).

Wonder what it would’ve been like if Vince didn’t completely shit the bed last week.

Always a stunning sign of a quality show on the whole when Wrestlemania happens and holds on to basically nobody in the long term. Really making bigger stars by delaying things and building up to that big moment though, everyone is clearly desperate for this chase.

Wonder what it would’ve been like if Vince didn’t completely shit the bed last week. Likely no material difference because this is one of their best numbers of the past 2-3 years and the highest for a "regular" Raw in a few years. All the shows that got above 0.59 in the past 2 years are either the night after the traditional big 3 PPVs or special anniversary/legend shows. The last time they got above 0.59 for a run of the mill Raw was Jan 18 2021 which got a .60. Looking at a quick recap of that show I'm not sure why that week in particular got such a high rating. It wasn't the night after the Rumble which was still 2 weeks away, it wasn't some kind of gimmick show and it seemed to be mostly built around that Bray/Randy/Alexa stuff which I guess was drawing well even if the IWC hated it.

Really making bigger stars by delaying things and building up to that big moment though, everyone is clearly desperate for this chase. It’s one of the biggest demos they’ve done for a non post PPV Raw in years. It’s up year over year by a significant percentage. It was number 1 on all of TV, including network TV. Last week’s audience was a one-time post PPV spike, and the numbers this week are above what they were drawing leading into Wrestlemania, so for now they’ve held the level of audience that was watching going into the PPV. I do expect that to go down as the month goes on, as it did last year too but the levels are higher that they’re dropping from. They actually are showing growth, despite cord cutting.

It seems like WWE and the NFL are the only 2 entities who are holding steady or slightly improving their numbers across network tv or cable despite the fact the studio's are largely retreating from creating new scripted cable shows,so all network tv and live sports/sports entertainment content have far less live competition then they did 2-5-10 years ago.

They arguably put on one of the worst RAWs last week and all they took was a mild hit and nearly hit 2 anyway. They have a winning formula, nothing they do hurts them.
