I don't know if this was meant to be funny and just fell flat. I mean he looks pretty silly which i hope was intentional. I just don't know what this was meant to do.

Oliver has criticized the WWE a few times... but it is totally within Vince's crazy mind that his biggest problem was Oliver mocking his mustache that required a response

That's another thing... like I said it was clearly mocking Last Week Tonight's intro and Frazer was emulating Oliver's rather face paced speaking cadence... but it wasn't like a funny segment... or really much of anything but it's an introductory thing I assume next time it happens (unless this ends up a one and done) will make what the point of this more apparent.

It wasn't even really mocking him at all, it was just using the presentation aspects of his show as a vehicle for a harmless "I've had it a bit rough lately with my results, but that's OK, these guys are tough so I've just got to get over it and get better" babyface promo.

You can tell who actually hasn't watched it yet by the response to it. Like, maybe those kind of cheap potshots against Oliver himself could come in future instalments, sure, but that didn't happen here.

Ah, thanks for clearing it up. I can't actually watch it until after work, so I wasn't sure. That said, if they can pull off a parody of Last Week Tonight, I'm all for it.
