WWE actually struck when the moment was right and the crowds were calling for it.
I'll start with the one that comes to my mind the most:

Kofi Kingston. WrestleMania 35.
We can talk about how the reign ended and etc., but they struck the iron while it was hot at WM35 with Kofi getting the win and KofiMania succeeding.

The Ultimate Warrior at SummerSlam 1988. Everyone was bored of The Honky Tonk Man’s IC reign and the Warrior was red hot at the time. It was also booked perfectly in that the longest reign in history was ended in one of the shortest matches in history. There could also be an argument for Warrior winning the WWF title at WMVI.

GUNTHER winning the Intercontinental Title felt like a pretty "Right time" moment for him, he's been pretty legitimized since on the main roster

Bianca and Rhea winning their women's titles at Mania felt like the right time for each of them to win it, even if I've not been a huge fan of Bianca's reign lately that Mania match with Sasha was just about as well as you can draw it up, and Rhea vs Charlotte followed suit.

Becky beating Charlotte at HIAC 2018 worked out better than beating her (or beating Carmella) at Summerslam would have.

Brock and Cena's first world title wins. The culmination of two fast and experimental pushes but Brock losing to Rock or Cena to JBL would have killed them both dead instead Vince kept his nerve and got two future HOFers from it.

Kofi and Bryan at their Mania’s
Warrior at 6, Triple H at 18 (but should have been swapped on the card with Rock/Hogan)
Michaels at 12…BUT I think there’s an interesting argument for him winning it at 11 especially since they weren’t on last.

The New Age Outlaws winning the tag belts in late 1997. They were the freshest act in the incredibly stale tag division in years and their win started that 5-6 year revival of tag teams in the company.

Batista and Cena and WM 21. That's the golden year for me as a wrestling fan. So well booked title journeys with actual playoff. >× Started watching shows live and following the independents pretty much afterwards.

Kofi Kingston. WrestleMania 35. We can talk about how the reign ended and etc., but they struck the iron while it was hot at WM35 with Kofi getting the win and KofiMania succeeding. Kofi should have main evented that Wrestlemainia! I know the plan was for the first ever woman's main event; but by the time Wrestlemania happened, I think Kofimania was more popular, and a much better feel good moment.
Maybe it's my hindsight since the woman's 3 way was not very good, and had that lackluster finish. Even without the botch, that finish was lame. (Becky asking where her mom was adorable though)
