-This is more or less feels like a 3rd attempt at a brand split. The brands once again became non-existent this past year
-This is their 4th attempt at a 2nd World Title (WCW/WHC/Universal/WHC 2.0)
-NXT is more or less WWECW
-This will be their 3rd attempt at Brand specific PPV's (if they follow through with it)
I think most people support the idea, but its exhausting when they put all this work into it, and then forget it exists a short time after

They should finally come full circle and do a REAL brand split as they once intended in 2001. Give us Shane McMahon presents WCW Hard-On Saturday Night, you cowards.

I imagine like last time they'll do like two good ones then they'll all be dogshit until they give up on it. If I recall correctly last time, Smackdown generally put out a series of bangers, with Styles, Ambrose, Cena, Miz, and Ziggler doing some of their career best work, and bolstered by a strong midcard and tag division which gradually dwindled in quality until Jinder Mahal became champion where they did an absolute nose dive. Meanwhile Raw put out shows anchored by a weak and ultimately disappointing Universal Title reign by Kevin Owens (which was admittedly bolstered somewhat by Kevin and Jericho's dynamic), the insufferably forced and unending "historic" rivalry between Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair over the Women's title, Roman putting everybody to sleep as US champion, and ultimately being the brand that gave way to part timers. So my prediction if they do it: The first few months will be solid, and rejuvenated by the new rosters and new possible combinations... And then it will take a massive nosedive because WWE is incapable of sustaining positive momentum for any significant period.

The interesting thing is that SDL's golden age was pretty short-lived. It was already starting to run out of steam by December 2016, though it definitely got worse in 2017.

If they do brand specific PLE’s they should honestly gauge the rosters. If all the talents down, I don’t see why not. Besides, it’s more content. But results may/will probably vary.

I assume they're thinking about brand specific ppvs because they fit Roman's schedule better.
On the one hand it helps justify absences better than Brock style disappearences but wow changing how the shows are structured and introducing new titles because of one person is crazy.

Ambivalent on the prospect of split PPVs, but hope they don't do that thing where they end them again but keep the inflated PPV count. Absolutely jackknifes the shows.

I liked the separate PPVs as a kid in the mid-00s but looking back, it was pretty dire. I think with their current talent pool they could try it again. We're not going to get into "Tyson Tomko versus Steven Richards in drag" level. At least I hope.

I’m just here for people putting on their brand shirts and invading the other show and then later on get drafted to the other show and put that brand shirt on and invaded their old show.
Brand split is and has always been shitty

And now if you aren't on the Roman Brand you are in the minor league fighting for the Consolation Title, and if you are on the Roman Brand you have no chance in hell if sniffing the top.
At least the women avoid Roman. *remembers Bianca*.... oh shit

The brand split idea is a good idea but the title lineages is what f***s everything up. The WHC, Universal title, and this new WHC will never he shit compared to the wwe championship so they will all always feel like consolation prices. They should of just kept the WHC lineage along with the wwe title lineage just incase they wanted to do another brand split

I stopped watching WWE in May 2021, but I am glad that the InterContinental Title is back on Raw.
