The video is over at TMZ if you want to take a look. It happened at an XPW show (big surprise, right?)
How are we still doing shit like this?

That spot was dangerous to anyone near the ring, including the fans.
That was f***ing stupid on a bunch of levels.

This dumbass will try the spot again in like a month. He’s really looking forward to that big XPW payday getting paid with bad porn videos.

This is genuinely the dumbest fire spot I've ever seen in a wrestling match, and we've seen some contenders like the Joey Janela one. This was MUCH worse.
I had to laugh at the exceedingly late fire extinguisher intervention. Crackerjack safety, guys!

That spot was dangerous to anyone near the ring, including the fans. That was f***ing stupid on a bunch of levels. The worst part is what difference would it have really made if the spot had gone right? What would you get out of doing that, which would not have been achieved by the much more controlled and far less dangerous flash paper fireball? Is it less visually impressive? Yes, but are you far less likely to spend the night in the burn ward after doing it? Also yes. Hell even the fire blowing spot that Terry Funk used to do with his branding iron looked better than this, because it had a controlled flame. To quote the late great Dusty Rhodes: "Don't do shit that you don't know how to do!"
