Theory as the Roman ender?

I think this might be a possibility. Roman probably won’t lose the title till Mania 40 and you would have about a year to build Theory as a face. The guy beat John Cena at Mania and has been pushed pretty hard the past year. Wwe might see him as a main Eventer for the next decade or so. Do you Guys think it’s a possibility? Would you approve?

I do not think he could do that in a convincing fashion, no. I think there's a story to Theory vs Roman being a match that'd happen, after Roman crucified him on the mic once, but that doesn't mean putting the title on him would work.

The thing with Roman's title run is anyone could end it if they put in the right story. Roman is not so overwhelmingly dominant that no one else has credibility. Roman is presented as strong, but he also kept the belts primarily through cheating. We have seen him pinned, we saw him tap, we saw him get himself DQed. He's not Bianca where he just stomps everyone and takes no damage during the match.

If they make the story where Roman is becoming overconfident, not taking the next opponent serious, not training. If they make a story where the Bloodline doesn't have his back. That would be a credible set up for a Roman loss.
So a few weeks of story can make anyone the guy to beat Roman without undermining the story already told.

(I think the WWE I still pathetically waiting for The Rock to return their calls. Hopefully they get over their ex and move on.)

This is how even a story where the guy who defeats Roman does so in a squash can actually be believable. Where Roman frequently underestimates his new challenger, but said challenger has been studying tapes and knows how to best neutralize Roman and the Bloodline.
