I wish I could remember a specific 2008 Raw clip I watched recently with Orton and HHH in the ring wearing almost the exact same looking shirt.

The Affliction/bro shirts were out of control around that time. Half of the main event scene was all over that style with Orton/HHH/Batista/Edge/Punk and over in TNA you had Angle and others wearing those kind of shirts for a while too. Jerry Lawler would have these hideous shirts a lot of the time around this era too.

When Cena started with the bright shirts it was honestly a breath of fresh air at the time compared to everyone else trying to look cool with their dark shirts with skulls or whatever else unintelligible design it was supposed to be. Like they were trying to manifest themselves making a ring walk towards the octagon.

It sort of amazes me how rubbish wrestling fashion usually is. Even when wrestling was cool it was still seldom what I would call fashionable. That makes it a pretty unique pop culture thing in that respect.

I feel like some Affliction shirts were alright, even if most were kinda lame or too "busy". On the other hand, virtually all Ed Hardy shirts are ugly as sin.

I thought this was going to be about JNCOs, but I guess that was a touch before this.
