He's still certainly not great, but two PPVs in a row he's had matches that were actually pretty solid and it does feel like he's starting to show a bit more in the way of his personality. Kind of starting to wonder if he's at last improving a bit.

Yes.
I mean, it helps he's been in there was good workers, but he's clearly put in the effort to improve.

As long as he does shit like the cleaning out his ears thing to mock the crowd to give him some character depth, he’ll be fine.
I still think he should be a face though and more like his out of WWE personality in interviews. Show could use a really good monster face that shows up to give the bad guys their due and I’m presuming we don’t have one of those not having really watched since mania

He's fine on PPVs. His debut v New Day at WM37 was good and the crowd got really into him. Then his matches with Bobby last year were better than expected. And I'd call his matches with Brock and Seth this past month enjoyable.
It's him squashing people on TV in between PPVs that doesn't really work.

He's put in the effort to get better and credit to him
He has fit into that niche attraction role really well

If MVP starts berating him for losing at some point I can see a huge pop for Omos eventually knocking him out. Then watch the Omosapien shirts sell like hot cakes.

Having him almost exclusively work big matches with experienced guys like Seth, Brock, and Lashley is definitely helping him look better. I don't know what they'll do when they run out of top guys for him, though. Omos vs Elias is going to be dire.

Unlike a lot of people his size, he's not lazy Even when he was green he always was talking shit in the ring and that's what I liked. His ceiling is this as a singles with maybe a midcard title run at some point but he has a life in wrestling for sure as someone bodyguard or tag partner. This is probably best little stretch Omos has had since he was tagging with AJ

The dude needs a guy who can work WITH him, he's absolutely awful in Jobber squashes and doesn't look convincing at all
But having someone who can actually construct a match with him seems to be doable. I really feel like he should be in a stable like Satnam and not the main focus, it'd probably help more

Yeah.
Lot of the old heads vouch for him and maybe it’s cuz dude at least tries. I do concede it was probably more Seth than Omos but that was a good match and probably Omos’ best. The fact he followed through with Seth’s tornado ddt surprised me.
Ideally, I’d give the guy some more singles work but he has to get back in a tag team eventually. Just has to have someone with a more similar aura. None of the aj-contrast stuff.

The man is a giant and good at what he does. What do you want him to do, lock up and go hold for hold with a roster half his size?
He’s there to throw people around, make smaller people WORK for him to be chopped down or even bump for them, and make people look impressive if they beat him.

Helps he has some proper gear now instead of jeans, a tank and a comfy winter coat.

His power moves look better but Seth's selling really helped out tonight because a lot of his stuff especially his big boot looks really bad

He's huge, in really good physical shape by now (looks like it, anyway) and has some skills in the ring. Still, I doubt I'll ever not perceive him as a foreign body. That's because of his career so far and his continued booking. He started out with the stigma of being a low-cost replacement for Strowman. He didn't have to be able to do anything except look big next to AJ. In matches he was protected accordingly, his part kept to a minimum. That hasn't changed to this day, although he seems to have moved on. Omos isn't booked like an attraction. He's booked like someone WWE doesn't quite trust, but books anyway because he's available. Like a celebrity, but without the star power. I'd be more into him if he felt like he was a full part of the roster.
Other than that, he makes a relatively competent impression. The incessant trash talking either needs to get better or he needs to find other ways to bridge breaks. Big Show told the story about how he roared like a cattle between all the moves at the beginning of his career because he was afraid the audience would get bored otherwise.
