A bio film about Mel Blanc but do it like that Dylan "Im Not There" film and have it be all voice over artists that play him at different times in his life.

βMichael Crichtonβs Jurassic Park.β A take on Jurassic Park which has a story closer to that of the original novel, and a darker and more somber tone. Possibly also depicting the dinosaurs with more recent theories about what they were like; more explicitly bird-like with feathers, swift rather than plodding movement, etc.

Maybe a fairly decent budget film adaptation of Octobriana. She would be played by Oksana Grishina.

A Gary Gygax biopic that shifts between the real world and the fantasy world he helped create. A big budget remake of "Them!" An adapdation of "Superman Smashes the Klan!"

I wrote a four part scifi/fantasy type story about ten years ago about people who were bestowed elemental powers that this evil creature, Genkai, would sway to his side and use to try to destroy his brother, Ser, because due to their lineage he was unable to directly harm him, and Ser was generally a neutral creature but when he realized he couldn't contain his brother's growing darkness, began collecting his own group of people with elemental powers to defend himself and stop Genkai. People said it read like it'd make a really good TV show. With some polishing, it could probably work as movies.

Furry Drama:The musical! The lead villain is a guy being yelled at by puriteens for something they posted on social media before they'd even lost their milkteeth.
'And he's the worst person that we've ever seen, he tweeted bad memes back in twenty thirteeeen!'
It's all done in fursuits where very actor loses 5 pounds after each performance through sweating.

I really want to have a documentary about the Star Trek fan scene in the 70s. Never has a franchise so thoroughly belonged to a fandom like it did then, and the story of how people essentially maintained Trek through conventions, magazines, clubs, etc is genuinely fascinating. Throw in the fact that so much of it was done (against the common Trek stereotype) by women and that 70s Trek essentially invented slash fiction through fanfics and you'd have one hell of an interesting series of interviews with people from the time period.

Lot of techno jargon in that book.

A biopic of vaudeville & radio star Fred Allen. He's largely forgotten today but you could see his influence in things like The Late Show with David Letterman, with the frequent improved bits, regular people segments & clashing with the network.

Just no feathers. One section of the book had the lead scientist wanting to make a new series of βsaferβ dinosaurs that were plodding and slow.

A one-off Star Wars project centered on Hondo Ohnaka where he gets to be his chaotic neutral self. I'm thinking of a tone similar to the first Pirates of the Caribbean but in space. No force shenanigans needed.

A big budget remake of the movie "Starcrash" with Katie Lea Burchill as Stella Star. I'm intrigued... who replaces Akton (Marjoe Gortner in the original), and who plays Prince Simon (David Hasselhoff)?

Ooh, actually, I was just reminded of another one Iβd love to make on this topic:
The Canterbury Tales, in which all the language is spoken in Middle English (with subtitles, of course).
Itβd be ambitious, but an accurate retelling of not only Chaucerβs original content, but an artistic interpretation of how the story might have ended, all delivered in a language which (with major help and input from linguists and other academic experts) conveys that strange yet surprisingly eloquent mix of Norman French and Germanic sounds that is the dead language of Middle English, would be a cultural undertaking that I think anyone who does it with all the ambition and effort it implies should be proud of.

I have a couple ideas for films that I'd love to make if I had any actual practical knowledge of how to shoot or direct. The current idea I'm noodling with is "Vampire noir".

I wouldn't want to personally make it, and I know it'd ruffle a _ton_ of feathers now, but I'd really love to see someone take a stab of making a movie (or a one-season streaming miniseries) out of Adam Cadre's "Ready, Okay!".

Oh, and a remake of the noir classic "I Wake Up Screaming", with a setting update, moving it from early-40's showbusiness to the mid-70's Motown/Disco scene.
