At first I thought Mox was talking about a potential sixth member of BCC (if Callis is 5th). But then I realized he was talking about himself, Claudio, Bryan, the Bucks, and Kenny.

Poor Wheeler getting left out though. He's a little shithead, but he's BCC's little shithead.

It's no wonder Mox is their "break glass in case of emergency" option for World Champion. You couldn't ask for a better person to represent the company.

Imagine including Claudio but not Hangman
I know he's not in the story, but if they're talking about the foundation of AEW, Hangman is right near the top.

Really like Mox giving the Elite their flowers but also keeping it within a kayfabe context.

wut...
odd quote in the piece
". The prefight brawl pitting Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta against the Young Bucks set the tone, and Danielson did a masterful job of hitting the high points on commentary (which would have further been enhanced by Jim Ross, particularly at the end).

I know some people don't like Mox's shtick but my god, he is THE guy for AEW, and this shows exactly why

I don’t like the Bucks. (They’re just not my thing) but he’s on the money with that quote)

Jon Moxley:
"Ima keep it a buck, but also in Kayfabe. We feudin' with The Elite right now, but I still like them more than I do the old f*** carnies who won't age gracefully"
Seriously, though, Mox is the f***ing man and I see why TK leans on him so much. I wish nothing but health, happiness, and a bigger family (if that's what they want) to John and Renee.

For a dude that bleeds as much as he does, Mox has one of the healthiest attitudes about pro-wrestling I've ever heard about. Can't remember where he did the interview, but he was waxing once on people ruining wrestling for themselves with pointless geekery rather than trying to think up cool shit that they like to watch. Like there was no malice or ragging on the sheets or smarks, he was just so earnestly baffled why people would bother.

Even before he joined the WWE and got super popular he had a really great shoot... i remember two parts... one was about how some wrestlers got all pissed off about things like Botchamania... and his response was it's f***ing wrestling get over it you f***ed up have a laugh move on. the other was about a spot where he was attacked with an electric carving knife in a death match... and how people thought it was real... his response was 'if it was real I Would be dead..." and "none of this is real it's f***ing bullshit... it's wrestling.' which... is a take I think far too many people miss and end up taking themselves way too seriously.

I think Mox overdoes the bleeding. Other than that, he's damn near the perfect professional wrestler, IMO.

A Wendys Dave's Double just flew across the room and was angrily introduced to the business end of a tennis racket somewhere in Kentucky.... (which is to say; spot f***ing on!)

I think Mox overdoes the bleeding. Other than that, he's damn near the perfect professional wrestler, IMO. I've been a huge fan since the Ambrose days, but he's really solidifed himself as an all time great IMO since going to AEW. I know he's probably in my top 10 favorites at this point.
