Every time they do a wrestler who's gimmick is that he's got lots of money (and it's mostly always been men), they're portrayed as heels (Dibiase, Flair, Vince, JBL, Lucky Corbin, Roode, etc). Has this gimmick ever been done with a face? Currently there's Cameron Grimes, but that's the only example I can think of.

In Chikara, Dalton Castle played a character named Ashley Remington, who inherited his wealth from his late uncle, I believe. He was a true babyface, however. He shook hands with his opponents, he respected the officials, he even broke his holds on one! And after he won, he would provide his opponent with a complimentary fruit basket.

Del Rio and Flair were still kayfabe very rich when they were faces although that definitely involved them flaunting it less as opposed to them using their wealth for the greater good.

Dexter Lumis is somehow a face. When he won a lot of money from The Miz, he gave some of it to the fans.

Ted DiBiase Jr. when he turned face ... but... then again they never tried to ever actually put forth that he had money... other than them saying he did.

Cameron Grimes' wealth went STRAIGHT TO THE MOON!
*edit* Don't care if OP used him. OP did not yell straight to the moon.

In 1999-00, The Rock would often brag about the price of his wardrobe and his kayfabed Home Video releases would showcase his wealth. They downplayed that aspect of his character in 2001-02 though and he started to dress like he was going to the gym.

Vince McMahon was the face when he cut the promo on KO about how the legal system is designed for people like himself and he’ll just drag out the case until KO is broke.
LMAO.

Not a wrestler, but Donald Trump. He would have money rain down on the fans, make RAW commercial free etc. I found him super obnoxious, but he was portrayed as a face character.

This is actually a cool idea for a character. A rich face who like a Mark Cuban-esque, uses his money for good things, finance bro type.

Wouldn't Hulk Hogan or really any long term face world champion count. If you are the world champion you should be making a lot in money, especially in Hogan's case when you add the movie career.

They never flaunted Hogan’s wealth in his babyface days, but they definitely played him up as a huge celebrity who fit right in among Hollywood elites (hence his heel name) and gave you the impression that he could live the life of a movie star or pro athlete if he wasn’t so dedicated to the prayers, the trainin’, and the vitamins brother!

There hace been lots of babyface presented as well off from their successes in the ring. But that isn't the same as something like a face Million Dollar Man. Honestly I don't know how you could make that work. With the heel version your getting heat on someone who is doing a gimmick, with Ted using Vinces limo, mansion, vacation home etc. In the vignettes to get over. How would that work in reverse? "Hey I'm a really nice guy, I'm gonna fly a bunch of you down to Florida to party at my mansion."?

Wasn't Ted DiBiase Sr a face during that 2021 feud between L.A. Knight and Cameron Grimes?
