After years of hearing about it.
It’s pretty nice for a free app.
As someone who doesn’t want to sign up for paramount plus, I’m glad I have another way to watch some of these old cbs shows they took off Hulu.
I love Lucy Garfield Wings
That impact wrestling channel is kind of fun even though i don’t really want to watch random wrestling that could be 15 years old or last year.
I also like that they’re linear channels that I can randomly turn on and see a random episode and it just keeps going. It’s nice for just background noise. Some of these older shows, the commercials are part of the charm. Especially the Garfield one since it’s a bunch of children’s commercials and those ad to the Saturday morning feel
I always thought that if peacock ever added their tnbc lineup, a linear channel of random shows would be the way to go

I miss the hell out of their 007 channel. Whenever there was nothing else to watch, I'd always put that on.

I enjoy watching episodes of old MTV shows like True Life and MADE; it’s quite something to watch a short-haired, clean-shaven AJ Styles try to teach a teenage girl how to wrestle. Pluto might be the closest thing to old-school Nick at Nite, as it airs shows like Taxi, Dick Van Dyke, I Love Lucy, Happy Days, and Green Acres.
My never-ending wish is that Pluto adds a Classic Nickelodeon channel. When Viacom acquired the service it occasionally aired episodes of Clarissa Explains it All and Are You Afraid of the Dark, and one of their kids channels airs Legends of the Hidden Temple. I know many of those ‘90s Nick shows are available on Paramount Plus, but it would be nice if they put at least some of them on Pluto. Heck, bring the Nick GAS channel back.

I'd want a pluto tv version of Nick GAS (Featuring Nick game shows not on P+) and I'd also want the One Piece channel to be split into separate Subbed and Dubbed channels and I also want Subbed and Dubbed Dragon Ball Z channels and a Mythbusters channel

I watch a lot of Buzzr. Although annoyed at them having 2 hours of the Newlywed Game on there... probably my least favorite gameshow.
Unsolved Mysteries channel, Sitcom Legends for both Cheers and Frasier, the Star Trek channels, the Stargate SGI channel, the Judge Judy channel...just a lot of free content.
The ads have been particularly annoying recently, specifically the Ben Affleck Dunkin Donuts commercial.

The Iron Chef channel is my usual choice when I'm bored and looking to watch something, though I'll pop over to Impact's channel for the lulz if there's something older on there.

I like it for what it is. There's a 90210 Channel, but the problem is that because of music rights, some really key episodes are missing. So if you're trying to binge watch, it's a jumbled mess. Huge storylines are resolved and characters show up/disappear out of nowhere

We watch the Jeopardy channel often. Then they got a pile of Supermarket Sweep episodes on Demand.
But mostly if I got PlutoTV on I got reruns of The Tribe going.

We watch the Jeopardy channel often. I did too for a while, but they went absolutely nuts with the Tournament of Champions, which honestly gets old for me.

Huge storylines are resolved and characters show up/disappear out of nowhere I haven't watched an episode of those shows since the 90's,but I always thought the music in MP and 90210 in most episodes was kinda just promotional fodder for current artists and you could redub in stock music in those spots. Feels like of all those shows that used songs regularly from that decade that NY Undercover is the only one that didn't have to get rid of music.

Does True Life have the wrestling episode? Is that what you were referring to? The one I ask about is the TL with HHH and Chyna, Tony Atlas, and of course, Rapid Delivery Rory Fox! How far do they go for Happy Days? It's infamously not been given all the seasons on streaming nor DVD.

I haven't tried it yet, but I should, and when I do...I'd be all about Price is Right: The Barker Era. Tubi is another good free app. You deal with ads, but a lot of content released by Shout! is there, including some super old school sitcoms like Dobie Gillis. I think this was where episodes of original GLOW and the Jim Lange version of Name That Tune could be found too, no?

Streaming services have cut out a lot of eps with music, which is problematic given that the Peach Pit After Dark was a major plot device/setting the last 6 seasons.
I mean, the Ray Pruitt character was on for a season plus and he was a musician and they cut like, 95% of his performances

I don’t know if it’s a rights issue or what, but it seems like the channel only airs episodes from the later seasons. I wish they could go further back in the show’s history, because True Life was one of the few good shows MTV put out when they dealt with topics that young people went through. The wrestling show I was referring to was from another MTV show called MADE. The show followed teenagers who wanted to accomplish a specific goal by being “made” into a singer/dancer/rapper/rock star/prom queen … you get the idea. Each episode featured a “Made Coach”—an expert in a specific subject—who tried to help the teen accomplish his or her goal. In this case, a high school student wanted to be made into a pro wrestler and was trained by AJ and other members of the TNA roster. This was back when TNA was on Spike, so you had the Viacom connection there. MADE did another TNA-centric episode with the spinoff MADE: Dream Bigger, following a college student who wanted to become a Knockout. Like True Life, the MTV Pluto channel only airs MADE episodes from the later seasons.
