Most of the comedy I watch/listen to are people I've already been a fan of for years. It feels like I hardly ever add anyone new to my rotation.
Some relatively newer ones I like though are Nate Bargatze, Mark Normand, Anthony Jeselnik, Taylor Tomlinson and Shane Gillis.

Tom Segura is my current favorite one. His wife, Christina P. is really funny too. For relatively newer guys I also like Joe List.
Not to spread too much negativity but my list of current popular ones that I can’t stand would probably be longer. Michelle Wolf for instance is distractingly bad. I caught her set that was part of a Netflix special I had on for background noise and it gave me a headache.

YouTube recommended me a short routine I liked: Conversational tone, casual content, no deep dives. I like his delivery and overall subdued presence. All the jokes work for me and even if they wouldn't, he seems immune from embarrassing himself. I like it enough to look him up.
As for funniest? No idea. Stand-up culture is so different here.
