Happy Pride everybody!
I spend the first few days of the month on holiday, with my Girlfriend, in a setting which allowed us both to take some long overdue plunges.
We might have flown back with like 5kg less emotional baggage, but like 100% more confident in who we are.
We feel very lucky, and though times seem shitty right now, love will win. It always will!
Love you all!

Happy Pride folks, just love each other and never worry about what others think, just be yourself, be true to your feelings and love who you love. No matter what just be happy and kind to everyone from loving humans to beautiful animals and nature. We all need to be kinder to everyone and thing in the world and pride month really is one of the best times of the year.

You need to be happy with yourself internally. If one doesn’t agree with y’all’s lifestyle choices, throw them aside. No need to have people bring you down over their beliefs. While I’m a straight conservative, I also balk at those who treat the LGBTQ community like they’re the lowest forms of life. You need to be happy in your own skin and be happy internally. So from a straight man to y’all, happy pride month

I've had trouble accepting myself my entire life-not that sexuality was an issue, just self esteem issues in general. I've only felt hints of my bisexuality little by little and sometimes it seemed to have dissipated for awhile.
Through therapy and medication, I'm now opening up about myself more than I ever did, even if it's just a little right now, but ultimately I want it to lead to happiness and accepting myself, which I've really never done.

It's been two years yesterday since I came out and I'm lucky enough where it's just now an added word to how I am and how I feel already which feels less controversial (even though people are still weird about the idea of asexuality but I don't get the abuse a Yasmin Benoit would for various, obvious reasons) but I also get the idea of imposter syndrome in that I've spent most of my life trying to understand and respect people who are different from myself and it almost feels like me being considered in that bracket feels...wrong. Like as though I'm a Plus one in someone's party rather than an actual invited guest.
I'm sure that'll change in time and I've had enough support from friends and family where it's been more normal and a good place to learn from but it's still a real adjustment period.

Especially cause I have the audacity to date women, I kinda feel removed from the actual core community.

Especially cause I have the audacity to date women, I kinda feel removed from the actual core community. One of the people I used to hang out in London with is Bi and wrote a book about some of the stuff you might relate to but also one of my closest friends is bi but mostly dates men so she can also relate to that. Which sucks because your relationships and decisions are just as valid as anyone else's and I get people have to be protective for various reasons but it always seems so counterproductive, you know. Unless they're expecting people to commit to polygamy for every relationship which just isn't realistic for various reasons.

I was speaking with my nephew the other day and while we were talking he went into a room where nobody could here us (it was a video call) and he told me he was bi. It's clear I'm one of a few people he told and I told him how proud I was of him and it's great how brave he is about this (he's only 17 for the record).

In this past year, I've attended my first Pride fest in nashville and come out to my therapist and two friends as bisexual. My unabashed love of Taylor Swift, particularly her Lover era has been my easter egg as it's still not something I've totally felt ready to reveal in my daily life in a small town. So happy pride to those who celebrate or relate The thing you did that I cannot abide by is your choice of font. It terribly clashes with the background settings that I have set. As far as Pride goes, we are all in.

I recently came out as demiromantic on Twitter. Coming to terms with my own asexuality has been a big weight of my shoulder, and my only real regret is not realizing it sooner in life.

A long time buddy of mine, going back almost 25 years came out about a year ago. The first thing I thought of was Brooklyn 99 and Holt's quote to Rosa. “Every time someone steps up and says who they are, the world becomes a better, more interesting place”.
Now, I'm a happily married straight man, but you better believe I've been supportive as hell. It's a very simple thing and really, all *anyone* wants.
