I’m happy to finally have the Austin/Bey Bullet Club question answered post-Finlay taking over. It hadn’t come up in canon yet. Though I do believe that the three teamed together on a couple indie shows a few months back. But those don’t really count and until New Japan addressed it they were kind of in limbo. Of course…they could get a classic Bullet Club goodbye on this show…
could be a good setup for Jr tag league tbh. Connors and Coughlin take them out at Finlay’s order after the match. Instant story for tag league.
Also that they actually had 5 quality BC workers (and KENTA) to put in a twelve man tag. I’m sure KENTA will be better in this environment then his singles matches have largely been. They’re also bringing over more people than I expected. I figured it would be Tanahashi and all the juniors already booked the day before. But Sabre, Haste, Finlay, GOD, KENTA, ELP and some Stardom representative will be there too.

Carthwheel is at AAA's Triplemania show tomorrow and so is Mike Bailey. Surprised CMLL aren't objecting to them given both are at The Festival next week Guessing that they care less about freelancers doing it, that and maybe they're trying to play nice right now given such talents as Flamita and Rey Fenix have left AAA semi-recently. In addition to maybe wanting to look appealing to work with, now is probably not a great time to strong arm people when AAA's got some vacancies to fill. |

I'd be down for that proposed tag angle, especially since Ace was getting a lot of love with his antics in Japan. I could easily see him as a face, Bey probably as well. |

They didn’t care that Omega and FTR were running around with AAA titles. Hell…they put the IWGP titles on FTR while they were AAA champions. But they won’t touch a Mexican wrestler who from AAA on a New Japan show. I think that’s the deal at this point. |
