I think if Disney via their Fox picks up Raw, it makes it more likely they move it to another night. If only so they don't cannibalize themselves with MNF and Raw on the same nights.

That's true, but even though they said they'd be willing to accept a deal for Raw away from Mondays, I'd be baffled if they just let that Monday wrestling audience go unless the new company is willing to put in the promotional work to get them to watch on another date.

USA would probably just make it Monday Night Smackdown at that point.

Just realized that this means no more overrun for NXT, which means the matches/segments will have to be tighter.

The thing I'm most interested about is where the shows end up or if they stay on the same days. Smackdown seems very likely to not stay live on Fridays, RAW if it moves, and it seems likely to, might not be Monday Night RAW anymore
It'd change the landscape significantly because I think AEW would put Collision in a spot they abandon in a heartbeat, especially with a built in wrestling fanbase conditioned to those days and timeslots. But other wrestling companies could also try and get in while the iron is hot. It really feels like that's what TNA is trying to do in rebranding back to its original name.

There’s no way all three WWE shows move nights, because then it just becomes shuffling deckchairs on the ship. Every night has big sports competition against it at some point, especially something like the NBA which goes basically every day from now until June next year. And you can’t keep running from football forever. Like is RAW gonna air at 1 in the afternoon or 3 in the morning during the fall/winter months to avoid it?
All the shows are probably better off staying on the days they’re on, but that’s not my call.

The reports have been that these shows just might not stay where they are NXT might stay on Tuesdays unless CW sees severe incentive to not air it that day or time RAW moving from Monday would be crazy but the reports said it's not a lock to stay there I think if anything changes for sure, we're gonna see Smackdown move again. It's the one that always feels like it moves the most.

And the weirder thing to me is the suggestion that if the Monday night spot is vacant, then AEW should move one of their shows there. Like, if the market leader with 60 years of industry traction can't make a dent in Monday Night Football, what's the competing promotion gonna get?

No WWE on Monday would be super weird but I'm sure it was weird for people when there was no NWA/WCW on Saturday nights.

I said they were going to be keeping an eye on where the shows ended up, because of the possibility that they might change days, and this was reported in articles I never said they were for sure going to change, but if they were to, companies are gonna be paying attention because they could move into those slots.

I feel like there are pretty decent odds either Raw or NXT ends up on Wednesdays honestly. I can get why they'd want to try and get away from football and they kind of seem to take every chance they can get to swing at AEW, which is looking pretty especially vulnerable lately as NXT's ratings have been getting better and better.

I really can’t see a network looking at the million or so on Mondays that keep watching regardless of what else is on and throw that away, though. Especially since not as many watch on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

And such a move would be counter productive. Would be interesting AF though.

Yeah, the fact that lawsuit is, so far, making its way to court, will make things really interesting going forward for that sort of stuff. It won’t make an impact and it could be as easily settled soon but it’ll be on people’s minds. I just think CW is going to look at the numbers NXT did on Wednesday and the numbers they did on Tuesday and the outcome would be a no brainer. Same with Raw on Mondays for anyone who gets it.

Well, I didn’t expect to see the old WWE logo in a current events article about the company.

Hearing Raw is probably headed to FX. Is that a step up or down? Or the same?

Hearing Raw is probably headed to FX. Is that a step up or down? Or the same? Osnt FX the former Fox channel now owned by Disney? When is the deal for the Network up? WWE content heading to Disney+ would be interesting and good value for money if you got it for a similar price as the base D+ price - although eith the rights so different across the world, D+ might consider it too much of a hassle
