These deals can come together quickly. Just ask Hulk Hogan when he missed the call and they gave that grill to George Foreman, brother!

Curious if with this move they might relocate some bigger stars to NXT full-time to give it more of a boost.

NXT's ratings could actually improve quite a bit with this move, CW is available in a lot more homes than USA.

Personally, I’m sad WWE is going to be on there rather than NWA or TNA or any other third tier wrestling promotion. I love WWE right now but it would be way healthier for the wrestling business to have more legit outlets for wrestling.

I guess we can consider the ? ditched. And unless something happens in the next couple of weeks, the person to determine where Raw will end up could still be Adam Silver. I feel like based on everything we're seeing so far, the NBA will stay put with espn x wbd At this point, I wanna see a swerve and it's announced that NBA will be back on CBS.

Got to love wrestling journalism...so NWA likely was never getting the deal and in fact there was another 3rd party...

Hell, NXT ratings could somehow be halved from what they are now and it'd be far and away the most watched show on the CW.

I wonder if CW will keep NXT on Tuesdays. I guess it depends where Raw ends up, how AEW/WB react to that and then what night is left open.

For anyone with Spectrum in the NYC area: did Spectrum and WPIX ever resolve their dispute or are they still not carrying it?
WPIX is the CW affiliate for New York so that could really suck for any NYC metro area wrestling fans with Spectrum who want to watch NXT on its new home.

I believe they still have CW on Spectrum in NY. I know they lost it for a couple of weeks a few years back.

Raw feels interesting as hell to me…does it go FX/Hulu, USA turns into the WWE channel, or a surprise suitor?

Raw feels interesting as hell to me…does it go FX/Hulu, USA turns into the WWE channel, or a surprise suitor? Well, Hulu will be less of a thing next year because it’ll be merged with Disney+ after the deal officially goes through (Iger said in the conference call today) so if Hulu wants to do something with WWE, maybe having Raw be on FX and D+ next day (and Peacock not long after to make Comcast happy) might be a solution? It does feel likely that, if nobody jumps in, USA will take it back if they can’t get any NBA rights because it’ll be a feather in their cap. Raw on Mondays, Smackdown on Fridays, NBC specials to be able to include both rosters, perfect to promote across Peacock and the like.

Yeah, it's not super likely because it feels like they're taking the old AMC spot for riskier shows but it might also work rather than trying to wedge it in ESPN and having to move it every so often?
