Hey, everyone. Our discussions in the thread about the Reddit blackout have made want to start a thread where we can share and discuss any non-mainstream website we find in some way interesting, bonus points if it's a personal page. I think it should also be fair to include stuff like obscure YouTube channels, Tumblr blogs, etc... even though the platform they're on are mainstream. I'll start with one I found a little while ago, www.bogleech.com. It's a website about creature designs in general. Doesn't matter if they're from movies, video games, comics, Tabletop RPGs, etc... anything's fair game as long as it's a creature of some kind. It's one of those sites that I appreciate for being funny while still feeling professional. I remember finding it when searching Silent Hill stuff and acame across his review of the Silent Hill Homecoming monsters and I found his takes very interesting and very accurate, not just criticising them but also explaining WHY a lot of the designs didn't work and how they could have been improved, and similarly, explaining why the better designs do work. So yeah, really good fun, always something nice for a quick read when you've got some time.
